Consider a list of quarantine content queens, and Demi Lovato is likely at the top. So far, the 27-year-old pop star has given us an iconic comeback song and video, a second single with Sam Smith, a “Harper’s Bazaar” cover story, tons of at-home interviews, and of course – some super sultry bathing suit pics. That’s just in recent weeks (and that’s not even EVERYTHING)!
Her 80+ million Instagram followers got a seriously sweet treat on Tuesday with a pre-midnight posting – one she teased as being a “fun lil thing.”
“Hello?” ? – Demi Lovato (emoji-emphasis added)
In just 20 seconds, a luscious Lovato somehow served up a series of suggestive poses as a photog friend captured from afar. Their telephone-themed clip is only bettered by her rhythmic locking of eyes to that of its breathy downbeats. Then, we have the words “hello” and “goodbye.”
Sounds odd, but as celebri-friend Nikita Dragun put it: “please call me just to hang up and say bye ?.”
And that really is the best way to sum it up. ? Check it out for yourself! ?
Along with last night’s vivacious video, the Dallas native fulfilled the dreams of punk kids around the globe – yes, Lovato dropped an emo version of “I Love Me,” featuring blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
Need more nostalgia? The revamp’s lyric video takes place on MySpace. As of this writing, no one in the comments had asked what MySpace is…yet.
Let it be said that Demi really went from singing “Tell Me You Love Me” pre-overdose to “I Love Me” mid-pandemic – if THAT’S not big Demi energy then we’d like to know what is.
Unassuming anything, a loyal Lovato lover left the following comment: “she protecc she attacc but most importantly she bring your emo side bacc” – the GRAMMY nominee showed instant approval by sharing the rhyme to her Instagram Story, further declaring she and its author were “best friends already.”
We’re not sure who slid into whose DMs, but there were definitely DMs that were slid into – as seen below, the former “X-Factor” judge informed her newfound friend that “God showed [her the] comment.”
And as a bonus, the lucky Lovatic then received a “you funny as hell girl ???” – which is the actual definition of a perfect LinkedIn header.

On top of releasing her latest Fabletics collection and a dazzling appearance on “The Disney Family Singalong” the “Warrior” songstress also shared her launching of The Mental Health Fund. Her endeavor exists “to support organizations who are meeting the increased demand in counseling due to COVID-19.”
“So many have been left alone with their thoughts, their anxieties, their abusers – and are struggling with the uncertainty of these times.”
“You are not alone,” she said later. “Help is fast, free and available 24/7.”
