Scarlett Johansson Gave Away Gifts For Her Birthday During Tribute

On November 18th Scarlett Johansson became the 35th honoree of The American Cinematheque a non-profit organization that honors actors on their illustrations careers. For Scarlett’s ceremony, many of her Marvel Co-stars came out in support of the Black Widow actress. While Chris Evans delivered a speech for the honoree virtually. Scarlett’s colleagues that were on hand for the ceremony did not leave the event empty-handed at all! They were treated to gift bags made by Backstage creations.

The team at Backstage creations have been responsible for creating celeb gift bags for over 50 high-profile awards shows over the years. There’s a reason for that, they’ve shown they have pretty great taste for these types of things. Now, you don’t have to be RDJ or Jon Favreau to be able to have access to one of these gift bags.

Chris Evan’s Adorable Speech To Honor Scarlett Johansson

Before we get to the gifts, we’d be remiss not to talk about the event itself. As we mentioned many Marvel alumni were present at the event. Chris Evans was not one of those in attendance, but he did send a virtual speech. In it, he talked about how he and Scarlett had starred in their first movie together over 20 years ago. Going on to detail that the two shared a very loving brotherly relationship. So much so that he loves annoying her! Evans mentioned,

“There is no one else in the world that I would rather annoy! I don’t know what it is, I walk in the makeup chair I see her focusing trying to think about the day, and I just want to start singing show tunes 6 inches from her face.”

Back To The Gift Bags

Now for the good stuff, attendees of the event were given celebrity gift bags crafted by Backstage creations. The gift bags included a trip to Four Seasons Nevis, spirits and a bar kit, chocolate and more packaged in high-end luggage! Yes, there was literally a full trip packed into a small little bag. The good news for fans is that they don’t have to book their trip to St. Kitts & Nevis on their own to chase down RDJ for an autograph. Fans too, are going to be able to access these bags. Plus, RDJ’s autograph is going to be included in the packaged deal.

Scarlett Johansson is certainly starting out year 37 with a bang. Being honored by The American Cinematheque is no small matter. For one, she’s one of a select group of 35 that includes the likes of Eddie Murphy, Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Al Pacino, as well as Marvel co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and the aforementioned Robert Downey Jr. She’s looking to celebrate it with fans. Granting them access to the gift bags handed out at the event.
