"I'm not that much of a romantic, I guess. I just went to Cleveland with my girlfriend for her brother's wedding. That was fun hanging out with her, spending time with her parents. I like to think I made a lot of sacrifices that weekend," he shared.

"We had to fly Spirit Airlines because that was the only direct flight into Cleveland at the time. So that was a massive sacrifice, having to sit on Spirit Airlines seats you can't recline to go hang out in my girlfriend's hometown."

Still, on the interview, Yang dropped what seemed like love advice for would-be lovers. He stated that for a first date, it was best to avoid much razzmatazz. A better preference would be a warm and cozy dinner where the couple could discuss themselves.

The actor also confided that after "Love Hard," he hopes to earn more mainstream success from his roles. He has done well in the comedy world and wishes to conquer Hollywood as well.

Yang also answered questions about his favorite form of self-care, his preferred pet, and his biggest pet peeves and turn-on. For his self-care, the comedian loves meditating and doing massages with a Theragun or a Kraftgun. He also enjoys working out frequently with Oculus.

The actor also divulged that he favors having a big dog as a pet -particularly pugs. He describes them as cartoon characters with plenty of personalities. Although he does not hate cats, he is more excited about being around dogs.

He responded to the biggest turn-off question saying he disliked tardiness regardless of it being a date or a business thing. His biggest turn-on comes when he meets someone, who is well-traveled, loves food, and is cultured.

His reasoning stemmed from having an immigrant background, which inspired him to try out new things.

Yang is not a newbie in Hollywood and has featured in several TV roles and independent films such as "Crazy Rich Asians," "Like a Boss," "Silicon Valley," "The Simpsons," "Fantasy Island" and other acting credits.

In "Love Hard," Yang played the role of Josh Lin, the romantic interest of Nina Dobrev's character Natalie Bauer. The film followed their unlucky love life up until the pair met via a dating app. Bauer took a trip to see Lin so they could start a relationship.

However, things took a different turn when she met Lin and discovered that he lied about many aspects of his life. The film is currently airing on Netflix alongside Yang's cameo in "Crazy Rich Asians."
