Mackenzie Mckee is likely getting Googled a lot right now. The “Teen Mom OG” star whose heart-breaking headline-making gripped MTV viewers in December 2019 continues to grieve the loss of her mom –Angie Douthit may be gone, but 25-year-old Mackenzie lives on.
Mackenzie was 100% living her best life in a series of Instagram photos posted around 24 hours before Tuesday night’s “Teen Mom OG” episode aired. The Oklahoma native who fronted media outlets in 2019 for a bikini-modeling competition was showing off her killer workout body – keep scrolling for it, plus the Netflix shout-out from Mackenzie.
Mackenzie’s snaps showed her looking drop-dead gorgeous as she posed outside her home – photos at the property’s front door then took on a backyard feel, with Mackenzie seen flaunting her gym-honed and super-built legs as she rocked skimpy denim shorts, wedge heel sandals, plus cute shirts shouting out hit Netflix series “Tiger King” – Mackenzie is so hooked on the show, she’s even delivered a full Joe Exotic dance complete with a mustache and head-to-toe outfit. Mackenzie does, however, suffer from a health condition that will stay with her for the rest of her life – Diabetes Type 1 makes Mackenzie’s blood sugar stability a daily battle, something that she mentioned after competing – Mackenzie relies on insulin to maintain her glucose stable.
Mackenzie recently opened up about losing mom Angie – the former marathon runner who developed aggressive lung cancer had also never smoked a cigarette in her life.
“The hardest part is the calm after the storm,” McKee said, adding: “Now, this is reality. Losing my mom is one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through in my life.”
Mackenzie has also been making headlines for her rocky relationship with husband Josh. Likewise, for her COVID-19 social distancing, with Mackenzie’s park outing with 3-year-old son Gannon seeing her “not touching a thing.”
