Tracy Morgan is taking back his words and clearing the air about him having a new mystery girlfriend.

Days after being seen with a woman in New York and categorically calling her his girlfriend, the comedian did a complete u-turn and denied saying such a thing.

Giving a statement to Page Six, the "30 Rock" alum affirmatively said, "I didn't say that… I don't care what the media says I didn't confirm anything."

Morgan went as far as to claim that the woman by his side could be one of the numerous women he takes random pictures with. "I take pictures with females every day and they're next to me posing," he said.

The "Saturday Night Live" star's recent statement sure raises eyebrows as many believed he was officially off the market.

Tracy Morgan Was Seen With Woman He Called Girlfriend

As The Blast previously reported, Morgan made fans believe he was no longer single after being spotted with a blonde woman earlier this month.

The "Little Man" star was seen leaving "SNL"s Studio 8H with the mystery woman in hand when they encountered the paparazzi.

After posing for a series of photos together with Morgan's hand firmly planted at the small of her back, he revealed that the woman was his girlfriend.

However, he didn't share any further details about who she was. Unfortunately, not much could be discovered about her from the photo as her face was majorly covered with a black nose mask.

The news of Morgan being off the market made significant headlines as it came more than a year after he ended things with his second wife, Megan Wollover.

The comic and Wollover were married for five years before going their separate ways. Morgan revealed that they were filing for a divorce and asked the public to respect their privacy.

During their marriage, Wollover and Morgan welcomed their daughter, Maven. From his first marriage to Sabrina Morgan, the actor also has three sons, Gitrid, Malcolm, and Tracy Jr.

It's not sure why Morgan did a complete 180 about his rumored new woman, but hopefully, fans will gain some clarity about the issue soon enough.

The sitcom only premiered its fourth season in late October, and Morgan shed light on how things would unfold as it progresses. In his words:

"It’s a little more intense. I wanted to make it a little bit more tense but the funny is still there. It’s gonna be great. It’s based on what has happened to me in my life. I give my ideas in the way that I want each episode to go."

As for whether the series would continue after four seasons, Morgan didn't spill any tea. Instead, he joked to the publication, saying, "Just stayed tuned. I'm not going to give you the ending while I'm on a phone interview with you."
