Kristin Cavallari Moves Fast Into Her Divorce With A New Home Purchase

As civil as the post seemed, their separation quickly turned ugly after Cavallari revealed that the divorce was already filed and rumors began to fly. Cavallari, who rose to fame from her time as a teen and young adult on 'Laguna Beach' and 'The Hills,' accused Cutler of manipulating her during marriage and began the battle for their home $5 million home as part of the divorce. Cavallari also claims that the manipulation continues and the professional football player is now intentionally picking fights in front of their three children.

Previously the 'Very Cavallari' star was seeking joint legal and physical custody of their kids, now she has responded with a counter-complaint for divorce seeking primary custody. As a result, their assets became frozen and Cavallari claimed that Cutler was blocking her from purchasing a new home to escape their situation.

She then filed a new document notifying the court that Cutler wasn't the only one bringing in money during their marriage and that she contributed significantly to the couple's shared wealth.

Us Weekly spoke with a representative on Saturday who confirms, 'the judge was able to order the release of the frozen assets so Kristin is going to be able to buy the house she wants to.'

The 33-year-old Cavallari quickly moved, signing a contract this past week to purchase a $5.5 million home in Franklin, Tennessee. The new residence is just a few miles south of the couple’s former place together up in Nashville. She and Cutler have also reached a temporary custody agreement.

While Cavallari may not be casting Jay Cutler in the best light, the Denver Bronco player is not making things any better for himself. Cutler has been spotted with Cavallari's former friend, Kelly Henderson.

The two previously broke off their friendship for many reasons, including cheating allegations between Henderson and Cutler. Henderson posted a photo on her Instagram showing her enjoying a drink outside. Next to her in the photo, you can see a man’s arm holding his own drink and wearing bracelets similar to the unique colorful beads that Cutler is constantly pictured with.
