Brooks Laich sounds like he’s making good on his promise to explore his sexuality more this year, as he just recently opened up about what it’s been like quarantining away from wife Julianne Hough. Laich and Hough have been separated during this time, with Hough staying in Los Angeles and Laich up in his cabin in Idaho. But recently on his podcast ‘How Men Think’ Laich opened up about his sex drive during quarantine and how he’s been handling things away from his wife for so long.

Laich explained on his podcast that he’s been too exhausted to even think about sex lately because he’s been so busy out on his property doing things. Laich said, “I'm in Idaho, my wife is in L.A., so not much of that [sex] going on here. I would probably lose my sex drive when stress ramps up, that's just what I feel in this situation." The ex-NHL player then went on to discuss what it is he spends his days doing, “It's all Idaho bush, I'm cutting down trees, clearing brush. After that, I cook supper and I make a fire and then I'm wiped out, I really don't have a sexual charge, I'm so wiped out."

Laich and Hough have had the rumor mills churning lately—many fans wondering if they were still together, separated, working things out, etc. Since both have been spending a lot of time apart, fans have been wondering about the status of where they stand. Laich even touched on this briefly in the podcast with that even if they were together, he likely wouldn’t have much of a sex drive still. Laich said, “During this quarantine time, I'm not in the proximity to my wife. I'm not in the same room with her, and what I'm doing here, that my sex drive wouldn't be at its peak."

Hough, on the other and, has opened up only recently with ‘Oprah magazine’ about the distance between the two. Hough shared, “My husband is in Idaho doing lots of yard work ... and so we're kind of doing our separate things right now. But it's really been a magical time.” Hough was slightly more vague in her approach, but she did mention that she's "really enjoying this time" so that she can "connect to what's really important" in her life. Hough’s vague statement came just a few days after she was spotted walking around L.A. with friend and actor Ben Barnes. Both were casually dressed and out getting some fresh air, which caused a lot of people to speculate why Hough wasn’t with her husband during the quarantine. While neither Hough nor Laich are addressing things head-on, a source came forward and told ‘Us Weekly’ that the pair are not doing well, which is an indication of why the two are quarantining separately.
