Jessica Simpson had cookie lovers in mind today as she took to Instagram to mark World Wish Day. The 39-year-old singer, actress, designer, and “Open Book” author continues to make headlines for her most visible change – the “Dukes of Hazzard” star dropped 100 pounds in just six months in 2019 after welcoming baby Birdie May.
Keep scrolling for the meal-by-meal breakdown on how Jessica lost the weight, plus her Keebler cookies photo that made mouths water. The blonde bombshell who recently shared her underpants-clad 2003 Rolling Stone cover may have admitted that she’s a “different” kind of housewife now, but she’s still got it.
Seen below, Jessica’s photo showed her posing confidently in a daylit room backed by French windows. The snacks on a wooden table that Jessica was leaning against included some of Keebler’s most famous cookies – Fudge Stripes were on show alongside Sandies, with the blonde actually holding a gift of Star Cookie Bouquets cutely wrapped in bee-like shapes and vased for a photogenic finish.
Jessica’s 100-pound weight loss might not have been as blatant as her recent bikini photo, but the mom of three was looking whittled-down in a casual all-black sweater and matching pants.
A caption shouted out the popular cookie brand as Jessica wrote:
“Today is #WorldWishDay! #ad @makeawishamerica is such an important organization that brings joy to kids and parents when they need it most. It is my honor to support them and their 40 years of wish-granting! More #WishesAreWaiting than ever before and the @KeeblerElves are working to make sure as many wishes are granted as possible.”
“To celebrate this beautiful partnership, the kids and I made these Star Cookie Bouquets with @KeeblerElves Fudge Stripe cookies a couple of weeks ago. Not only a delicious treat, they also make a great craft while we’re all inside right now!” she added.
Clocking over 8,300 likes in an hour and seeing fans write: “Those fudge Keebler elves are my vice … I can’t buy them! ?,” the post proved a hit. While the World Wish Day and Make A Wish America partnership proved charitable, the post did come announced as an ad – pay on Instagram correlates with following. Experts at Vox say:
“Influencers with up to 1 million followers can get $10,000 [per post], depending on the platform, and 1 million followers and up, you’re getting into territory where they can charge $100,000. Some can even get $250,000 for a post!”
Jessica has 5.3 million followers. Keep scrolling for her diet reveal.
Jessica’s 100-pound weight loss came over six months, seeing the star walking up to 10,000 steps a day. Personal trainer Harley Pasternak told Hollywood Life:
“She would eat one whole egg and three egg whites for breakfast, scrambled with a bowl of blackberries. For lunch she would have a salad with grilled chicken and grilled fish with salad and vegetables for dinner. As for snacks, she would have almonds and sometimes green beans with Parmesan cheese on top. She was very disciplined.”
