Draya Michele has been cooking in her undies. The 35-year-old reality star and Mint Swim founder traded in her signature bikini for a little lingerie on Tuesday – Draya’s Instagram stories came as a detailed series of videos going vegetable by vegetable as the “Basketball Wives LA” alum put on a perky – and fairly bouncy – display of her killer curves in see-through underwear.

Draya’s videos kicked off with the star appearing in her kitchen and backed by counters. Draya was at a chopping board, starting with “some spinach” before cutting up cucumber and tomatoes that she “kind of hates” – the ex to Orlando Scandrick was looking both low-key and red-hot as she proved that prepping veg can absolutely be done in a pastel purple negligée and matching undies briefs.
Male fans may well have had their eyes a little higher than the chopping board – sheer fabrics upped the ante as Draya flashed some breast, with her super-flat stomach also on show.
Draya continued with a carrot that she shredded, plus chicken that was packaged – Draya usually goes fresh “but nah” this time. Avocado was also included in what was likely a salad, with Draya’s stories then encouraging fans to rewatch purely for her “cutting face,” something that the star deemed “quite legendary.”
It’s always infectious with Draya. The star who saved up $12,000 to found her Mint Swim brand in 2011 has been milking social media since its launch – valued at $1 million in 2017, then cherry-picked by Kylie Jenner for her 2019 Turks & Caicos travels, Draya’s brand is no small-time deal.
Draya has been keeping promo for her Mint Swim line strong amid COVID-19 – as ever, with Draya, the captions are bang-on, with Draya recently rocking a black string bikini as she wrote: “I like ’em 6 ft away.”
Speaking to Refinery29 about the company, Draya name-dropped one of its most famous customers:
“I’m constantly designing and producing stuff, so when comes out, I’ll put it out. If Selena Gomez feels like wearing [our swimsuit], which has happened before, it’s going to sell out in probably 14 seconds. But I have the ability to make 3,000 more.”
Draya made headlines recently for getting honest and actually warning certain ladies to steer clear of the bikini she was modeling. Draya said that anyone who was a small shouldn’t be purchasing the two-piece, also admitting that the look she was wearing came pretty “roomy.”
“Basketball Wives LA” may still be on Draya’s resume, but this hard-hitter’s career includes more than reality TV. Alongside running her best-selling brand, Draya is an ambassador for Rihanna’s Fenty x Savage lingerie line, plus an influencer for Fashion Nova clothing.
