Janet Jackson’s legendary nip slip at the 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show has been explored in a new documentary.

The New York Times docu titled “Malfunction: The Dressing Down of Janet Jackson” explored the controversial performance and its aftermath.

It showed how Jackson was vilified by the press and public after her breast was exposed on stage.

The docu particularly focused on how Justin Timberlake and former CBS CEO Les Moonves played a role in Jackson’s downfall.

It was revealed that Moonves demanded an apology from Timberlake and Jackson following the mishap.

However, while Timberlake apologized, Jackson disagreed and left the vicinity shortly after the performance.

Moonves who was later fired because of sexual assault allegedly worked behind the scenes to bring Jackson down.

Timberlake also reportedly left his co-performer to hang while using her misery to boost his career.

Fans have since taken to social media to trend #JusticeForJanet as they call out Timberlake and Moonves.
