One of the newest stars in the “Gold Rush” family is quickly turning heads in the prospecting community, and it’s not only because of her golden looks. 23-year-old Tyler Mahoney is a gold mining beauty from Western Australia and is featured as one of the local stars on “Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail.”
Longtime “GR” star Parker Schnabel left his usual stomping grounds in Alaska to head Down Under and take a shot at the long-abandoned mines of the Outback, and Tyler is tasked with helping him navigate the vast terrain.
According to Discovery, it was important for Parker to team up with a local mining prodigy to help him out, and the network tapped Tyler of her strong generational ties to gold mining in Australia.
“This year, Parker will be joined by 24-year-old gold miner and prospecting expert Tyler Mahoney, a fourth-generation Australian gold miner. Her ability to navigate the country’s vast goldfields and read the ground will be instrumental. Rounding out the team will be Danny Etheridge, cameraman and close friend of Parker; and Fred Lewis, a former US military medic and communications specialist,” Discovery announced ahead of the newest season of “Parker’s Trail.”
It seems the stars hit it off during taping, as Tyler has posted many photos of herself and Parker to Instagram and also spoke very highly about her time with the “Gold Rush” crew.
Tyler is no stranger to being in front of the camera, as she has already starred in the Discovery reality series, “Aussie Gold Hunters.” She was also the key model for her now-defunct bikini line, MAE BY TYLER, and regularly showed off her fit physique in some of her own bikinis.
Fitness is important to Tyler and she often shows fans how she stays active, including hiking and surfing at the beach.
Mining for gold also keeps her in shape as Tyler owns and operates a private club for prospectors.
The global COVID-19 pandemic has forced mostly everyone, including Tyler, indoors, but she’s trying to make the best of the situation. The 23-year-old bombshell has been showing off her workout routine as she aims at keep her figure slender during quarantine.
“Iso workout – stretch, contemplate doing more, decide against it, lunch,” she wrote while showing off her outfit of workout shirts and a sports bra.
The reality star also revealed that she dyed her hair orange during the quarantine, and has embraced the fresh look.
As for whether she will be back on future seasons of “Gold Rush,” that’s still yet to be announced.
