Lindsay Lohan took less than 45 minutes to have fans saying: “Wow” today. The 33-year-old “Mean Girls” actress who is currently making headlines for both her come-back career and denying she crashed a Britney Spears and Paris Hilton party back in the day took to her Instagram for a beachy update on Saturday – the “Xanax” singer had fished out old photos reminding her of her days in Mykonos, Greece.
COVID-19, currently seeing the star in quarantine from her Dubai home, was also mentioned – “Stay safe,” Lohan wrote.
Seen below, Lindsay’s photos showed her shot close up and rocking windswept locks as she posed in a California beach babe photoshoot amid a glistening sea backdrop. The trademark, fiery, and red-headed hair was nowhere to be seen as Lindsay had gone blonde, also seen rocking a skin-tight wetsuit with electric blue panels chopping up white and pink. Reflective shades added glam as Lindsay posed with a turquoise surfboard, with a caption reading:
“Came across these today of the amazing artist @richardphillips and the collaboration we did? I love these colours, they remind me of Mykonos summers #stayhome #staysafe #smile ?”
Clocking over 19,000 likes in under an hour, the update appeared an immediate hit – Lindsay has 8.3 million Instagram followers. Comments came in fast.
“Wow” was one, with one fan writing: “Can you surf in my DM like this.”
“What an icon,” another said, with a brave user straight-up asking the former child star out: “I’m on vacation in the US, can you accompany me on a date?” they wrote.
“Damn she’s gorgeous” was another comment. Bad luck for the hopeful date fan – Lindsay planned a return to the U.S. in her 2020 New Year’s Resolution, but COVID-19 sees her stuck in Dubai.
Lindsay recently opened up about the idea of shooting a sequel to iconic 2004 movie “Mean Girls.”
“Of course, I would say yes. To come back with a movie like that would be my dream, to be honest, because I haven’t done one in so long. That would be my ultimate. It’s been 16 years and we’re not getting any younger,” she said.
“I think if I talked to Amanda [Seyfried] and I talked to Lacey [Chabert] and we kind of all could have a chat together, maybe we should do a zoom call,” Lindsay added.
2019 saw Lindsay open up to Variety, with the magazine asking the star why people “don’t want to hire” her – Lohan has had some career fails, with her canceled “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club” widely considered to have been a flop.
“I think there’s a misconception that people still have about me, and I think it’s unfortunate. Hopefully, this will change people’s perception once and for all,” the star said.
Lindsay’s Instagram is followed by some major celebrity faces. Keeping tabs on “The Masked Singer Australia” judge are rap queen Nicki Minaj, actress Bella Thorne, plus “Power” actress La La Anthony.
