Scarlett Johansson is thankful after reaching the end of the legal battle with the juggernaut media company Disney.

Johansson's lawsuit against the movie corporation was very publicized. Now, both parties have reached a settlement and put the past behind them.

The "Black Widow" actress talked about how she was feeling after the debacle. Marvel president Kevin Feige also spoke on future film partnerships with her.

Scarlett Johansson: "It Feels Like Some Progress"

While Johansson was at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 35th edition of the yearly American Cinematheque Award Show, she spoke to USA Today about ending her Disney lawsuit. 

The "Avengers" star was an honoree at the November 18 event and said her bold move against the media corporation was a bit frightening and uncharted territory for her.

Johansson admitted that she feels fortunate to have stood up for herself, adding, "In the end, I'm really thankful that no one else will ever have to deal with that."

The "Lucy" actress noted this felt like some progress to her which is good. She is currently focused on being a mother to her 4-month-old son Cosmo who she shares with her husband, Colin Jost

The Marvel personality also parents 7-year-old daughter Rose from her marriage to Romain Dauriac. She expressed that she looks towards directing something in the future and pictures it as fulfilling. 

The outlet noted that Marvel president Kevin Feige teased an upcoming "top secret" collaboration with the mother-of-two during his speech.

Feige credited his working experience with Johansson as one of the "most memorable and rewarding collaborations" of his career. He also thanked her for everything and called her a real-life superhero.

The "Black Widow" Actress' Settlement With Disney 

Following two months of legal back-and-forth with Disney, Johansson finally settled with them, and The Blast recounted the event in October.

Though the settlement details are undisclosed, PEOPLE Magazine released a statement showing that the "Ghost In The Shell" lead was happy they had resolved their differences.

Johansson stated that she is incredibly full of pride for the work she and Disney have done over the years and has enjoyed her creative relationship with the company's team.

Disney Studios Content Chairman, Alan Bergman, was delighted at their mutual agreement and praised her work. He announced his excitement for their future collaborations, including the yet-to-be-released "Tower of Terror" movie.

Colin Jost's Mother Confused Over His Son's Name

It is common for celebrities to have unique names for their offspring, but the name Jost and Johansson chose left his mother perplexed.

The Blast shared that while on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," Jost explained that, though his family is usually on board with his decisions, his mother was thrown off by the name Cosmo.

The "Saturday Night Live" writer said his mother thought it was a hippie thing and tried to get him to change his first-ever child's moniker to "Cosimo."

Jost's offspring's name stopped being an issue when his mother began interacting with her Italian neighbors and realized that Cosmo was a common alias.
