Jax Taylor was seen appearing to question his marriage to Brittany Cartwright in the midseason sneak peek at the remaining episodes of Vanderpump Rules years ago and days ago, the couple spoke to Justin Sylvester on his E! series, Just the Sip, about the reason behind his apparent meltdown.

Speaking to Sylvester earlier this week, Taylor and Cartwright admitted that when it comes to the final weeks of filming on new episodes, the cast is often a bit more picky with one another.

“At the end of the season, everybody [is exhausted] because you’ve been filming so long and you’re so stressed," Cartwright explained of the dynamic that exists between her and her co-stars when filming is coming to an end.

Cartwright then directly addressed the way in which her husband struggles with the end of production.

"Something always happens with [Jax]. At the end of the seasons, that’s when people start picking at each other because everyone is so exhausted,” she shared.

“I’ll spiral. We get emotionally exhausted,” Taylor explained.

According to Taylor, he and his Vanderpump Rules co-stars were only supposed to be filming seasons for three months out of each year. However, production always ends up going much longer, especially once the group's cast confessional scenes are taken into account.

“We’re supposed to only film three months. It’s never been that in eight years. We film way over, we film a lot of interviews. We film days and days and days," Taylor said.

Despite the hardships he faces during production on new seasons of Vanderpump Rules, Taylor said that he always does his best to complete his job as a reality star and treats his full-time position like a full-time job.

"It’s like a job. It gets a little frustrating and tiring but this is my job. You just gotta get up and do it,” he explained to Sylvester.

Taylor has been appearing on Vanderpump Rules in a full-time position for the past eight years.

Even though Taylor is married to Cartwright, his notoriety has led many women to send him inappropriate images of themselves on social media.

“They want to test. I get so nervous about that so she has my passwords," Taylor admitted. "I’m like, ‘I just want you to know this is what’s happening. I’m not responding.’ Just so you don’t look at my phone like, ‘Why are women sending you this.’ I’m just like, ‘Here it is.’”

To see more of Taylor, Cartwright, and their co-stars, don't miss new episodes of Vanderpump Rulesseason eight on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
