Larsa Pippen‘s Instagram account has been hijacked by fans still reacting to the Sunday night reveal over ex-husband and former NBA icon Scottie Pippen‘s Chicago Bulls contract. The 45-year-old reality star found a post showing off her killer legs in tiny shorts quickly flooded by remarks over the ESPN-aired “The Last Dance” – Larsa has also made headlines for screenshotting the $109,192,430 career earnings detailing the 54-year-old former athlete’s wealth as she defended him on Twitter. Scottie wound up front-page news on Sunday night as Larsa pointed towards him earning nearly $20 million more than fellow Bulls face Michael Jordan during his playing career.
Larsa’a photo saw her slip back into her influencer shoes amid the ongoing gig she has with affordable clothing brand Pretty Little Thing. The former “Real Housewives of Miami” star was looking smoking hot as she posed on a luxurious terrace, going sporty as she flaunted her gym-honed legs in a tiny pair of gym shorts paired with a long-sleeved and tan sweater bearing the Pretty Little Thing logo.
It wasn’t all affordable, though – Larsa tagged luxury Italian designer Gucci for her sneakers, also seen clutching a Gucci bag. She asked: “What shows are you watching? @prettylittlething” in her caption.
Racking up over 17,000 likes overnight, the post proved popular amid Larsa’a 1.9 million followers, but the comments section quickly saw fans mentioning ex Scottie, dubbed to have been “grossly underpaid” by The Daily Mail over his seven-year $18 million contract, with 57-year-old Michael Jordan earning $30 million per season.
“Scottie is an Assassin and without him Jordan doesnt get 6 titles and admits that,” one user wrote.
“That MJ and Scottie are the best players of all time!!” another wrote.
Larsa made headlines for being told that “NBA money bought that” earlier this year as she posed by a red Ferrari. Having denied being a gold-digger, the blonde nonetheless found damning comments regarding her marriage to Scottie.
“Scottie got robbed,” one user wrote.
“HOT! And you got money too” was more complimentary.
Remarks over the mom of four’s former husband continued: “So far I think it’s great nothing like 90’s basketball ? Jordan and Pippen the best duo ever ??,” one fan wrote.
“It been great thus far, my favorite team of all time and Jordan wouldn’t have been Jordan without Pippen and Pippen without Jordan, the best chemistry in the history of the NBA…,” another wrote.
Larsa was, however, thrown a mega thumbs-up by many fans.
Larsa’s post wasn’t a full-blown ad, however it did come as Instagram’s standard influencing, with celebrities largely accepted to be receiving some kind of pay for their service. Experts at Vox broke down the potential – and estimated – earnings.
“Influencers with up to 1 million followers can get $10,000 [per post], depending on the platform, and 1 million followers and up, you’re getting into territory where they can charge $100,000. Some can even get $250,000 for a post!”
Larsa’s following sits just under 2 million.
