Chrissy Teigen Undergoes An Eyebrow Transplant Surgery, See The Results!

Chrissy Teigen just underwent an eyebrow transplant surgery. Apparently, that is a thing.

The supermodel posted details on her Instagram stories, showing off a recently completed transplant which includes removing hair from a different part of the head and placing it in the eyebrow area. Chrissy shared post-operation pictures on social media, along with a message describing the surgery.

"I never wear makeup if I can avoid it, so I was so excited for this eyebrow transplant surgery where they take hairs from the back of your head!!" Teigen captioned the images. She also tagged the famous doctors responsible for the work done on her face.

John Legend'swife posted a second short video showing off her flawless eyebrows, saying, "This is right after surgery!! Crazy!!" You have to see this! According to Allure, the surgery consists of "fine hairs from the back of the head are removed by either a small linear scar or through tiny little circles around the base of each individual hair follicle and then placed into small, very carefully designed sites in the eyebrow [area]."

Interestingly, this is a common surgery done on men who are looking to fill in their hairlines. During the procedure, doctors transplant the entire hair follicle usually from the back of the person's head and place it in the front.

The bottom line, it looks great!

Chrissy Teigen made huge headlines earlier this week, after facing criticism online for throwing a lavish 'Squid Game' themed party. On Monday, the supermodel shared a set of photos from inside the shindig for her millions of Instagram followers. "Where do I even begin! What an absolutely epic night. My dream came true of watching my friends fight to the death!" she captioned the post. Adding, "Dunk tank, musical chairs, and hide and seek, followed by a very riveting final game of pin the tail on the donkey. Wife of the Party, you truly are the best and have the best team ever. Unfortunately, the costumes and decor were so accurate that many called it "tone-deaf" because of someone so rich throwing a party of this type. According to reports, one person wrote, "This is so beyond tone-deaf as a millionaire to invite your rich friends over and reenact 'Squid Game' which is rooted in the violence of capitalism."

This was not the first time Chrissy has been called out for being tone-deaf over the subject of her finances. Back in 2019, she was called out for treating a pair of Apple Airpods like they were "disposable." She tweeted, "My mom treats her AirPods like they're disposable. She buys a few [pairs] a month. She says they would be easier to not lose if they had a cord."

Either way, we are guessing the eyebrow transplant cost a pretty penny -- but, it sure looks worth it!
