'Real Housewives of New York' star Bethenny Frankel is reportedly very unhappy with the show's producers. Frankel, who chose to depart from the hit Bravo program last summer, reportedly acted out rashly when told that the show's producers didnt feel as though she was needed on the cast anymore. Following that allegation, not only did Frankel block the producers online, she also spoke out against the new season's premier, causing major tension with cast members and team members of the show.

Back in August, Frankel opted to leave 'Real Housewives of New York' after eight seasons of filming. At the time, she cited her departure as a calling to work more on her charity BStrong, which has most recently donated 250,000 masks to New York City hospitals amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.

Now, it is coming to light that the former star had beef with the show's producers, and her disdain of the new season was made very known in a statement she issued to Page Six prior to its release.

"The beginning of the show was the proverbial middle finger to me," Frankel told 'Page Six' during the candid interview, adding, "The women have definitely had some unpleasant things to say about me … I wish them well."

Continuing on from there, Frankel went on to claim that the show's lower ratings were a result of the times, saying that people were looking for "uplifting" content amidst the current global situation, which the women's on-screen drama was not thus leading to the unusually poor ratings.

According to the article, producer Barrie Bernstein reportedly told fans at a 'Bravocon' panel that the show didn't neccesarily "need" Frankel, which caused her to immediately block him online. He claimed that the new season would be an example of how the already-successful show could further flourish without Frankel's presence, "I think this season we’re really excited to shine that," he said.

"Bethenny got wind of it, got very angry and blocked [Bernstein] from her phone," a source mentioned to the publication.

Frankel's former castmates are reportedly "livid" over her comments about the show, as reported by 'Page Six', they feel as though Frankel's claims are completely false and that she hasn't truly "moved on" from the show.

"We all can’t believe she’s out there bashing the show when the ratings are good and she’s proclaimed to have moved on when she decided to leave the franchise," claimed a source to the publication. "I know the ladies only wish her more success with her new show than she had with the last one!"
