Halsey clocked herself over 583,000 likes in under 60 minutes today, taking to Instagram to mark Earth Day. The 25-year-old singer’s photo-heavy post comes amid headlines she made for going Manga-style in a candy-pink and exposing braless snap – the opening shot to the “You Should Be Sad” singer’s Wednesday post was, far more revealing, though.
“NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION” was the opener to the star’s caption. The accompanying image, showing Halsey fully nude, definitely seemed to grab her 19.2 million followers.
Halsey’s photos (seen below) opened with her photographed in her brithday suit and in a rock-enclosed series of waterfall pools – the eye-catching snap showed the New Jersey native baring her butt crack as she posed waist-deep in emerald-green waters and turning around to shoot the camera a piercing gaze.
A quick swipe to the right showed various outdoor shots including an anonymous female cycler, nature shots showing plenty of water, plus urban moments. A fierce abs shot of the star in the desert was also shared – likewise a bird’s eye view of an ocean bay taken from a plane.
A caption from the star came dedicated to Earth Day.
“NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION!!!! ??? Happy Earth Day! I encourage all of my followers to take some time to consider ways you can live more sustainably in this time,” Halsey began, adding:
“We can all make small changes to reduce waste, like remembering to recycle, using wooden utensils instead of plastic, switching to solid shampoos and conditioners, buying from small agriculture businesses, etc.”
The post quickly brought in two celebrity likes – model Amber Rose and “Mad Men” actress January Jones both gave it the thumbs-up.
Halsey has been making headlines amid the COVID-19 pandemic. March 26 brought a killer bikini video as the brunette showcased her fierce body in selfie mode and in her bathroom – views to it currently sit at 3.1 million views. Halsey has also upped the ante via topless snaps, although her most recent headline-making involved a twerking video suggested to have made ex Yungblud jealous.
The “Bad At Love” singer delivered the bra and short shorts video amid edgy blue lighting, bringing in replies from the likes of Rita Ora and Kehlani.
Halsey’s post today continued with practical suggestions on how to keep the planet green: “I know I still have a long way to go to reduce the waste and carbon emission my profession historically entails, but my team and I are working hard to fix that!” she wrote, concluding:
“If you already suffer from ecological anxiety about the danger our earth is currently experiencing, making any small changes that you can manage could help to bring you a great sense of relief and happiness. Sending my love. ??”
