While talking to E!’s “Daily Pop,” the “WAP” rapper said, "I feel like you can just expect, if you ever liked watching my old videos or you ever liked me going live, that’s what I’m bringing. I’m bringing me.”
Cardi is nominated for three AMAs favorite female hip-hop artist, favorite music video and favorite hip-hop song for "Up."

"A compliment or people showing love, it goes a long way. Sometimes being famous, the negative things can cloud you up. But when you win the awards, when fans are going hard, voting for you and cheering for you, it's like wow, you know what, that doesn't matter; all the negative things don't matter."
Speaking of negative things, Cardi and her husband, Offset, faced a lot of negativities in their relationship when the Migos rapper strayed from their marriage and she took him back.
Cardi and Offset secretly tied the knot in 2017 and not long after their low-key wedding, the rapper allegedly cheated on her.
Cardi & Offset have had many ups and downs in their relationship
Cardi announced the two were splitting up on Instagram saying they were better off as friends.
"So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know, I've been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now and we're really good friends and you know we're really good business partners," Cardi B explained. "He's always somebody that I run to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven't been working out between us for a long time and it's nobody's fault."
She continued, "I guess we grew out of love, but we're not together anymore. I don't know. It might take time to get a divorce and I'm gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father and yah."
Cardi filed for divorce in September 2020 citing the marriage was “irretrievably broken" and "there are no prospects for a reconciliation."
Cardi is 'grateful' they worked through their challenges
However, that all changed just a few months after she filed. Cardi called off the divorce in November 2020.
Cardi opened up to “Daily Pop” about her marital challenges and why those challenges have made her the happiest she’s ever been.
"Of course we went through some challenges," she admitted. "We had to get to know each other better. But I feel like I've never been happier. I really feel like [it's] not even just like marriage, it's the family, the unity, the friendship that we have, the 'I have your back, you have my back.'"
The “Up” rapper said they’re in a great place now, and the couple welcomed their first baby boy together in September.
