The 2023 first quarter injury reporthas been released, which covers from January through March of this year, and notes a total of seven incidents at Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld Orlando. The injuries noted are only those that resulted in a hospital stay of 24 hours or more or deaths that are reported.

Although not considered an injury, other incidents have occurred at Walt Disney World as of late, including the arrest of a Florida local at Disney Springs — the shopping and dining district located at Walt Disney World. And late last year, a Guest visiting Walt Disney World from California was hospitalized after another Disney Guest bit off a part of her middle finger during an argument at EPCOT. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office report, which was released nearly four months after the fight on December 13, 2022, a fight broke out between two Guests during the Harmonious fireworks show at EPCOT over a blocked view.
