Kelly Ripa is no doubt the mom that every mom wants to be. She’s been a long time television show host, surviving through ‘Live With Kelly and Ryan’, ‘Live With Kelly and Michael’, and ‘Live With Regus and Kelly’. She’s been the wife to her soap-opera husband and co-star of ‘All My Children’, Mark Consuelos. And! She knows how to have fun and laugh at herself, like when she played the exaggerated on-screen version of herself on the Comedy Central show ‘Board City’.
As emotional as things have been for Kelly Ripa over the past few years, you can always see her with a brilliant smile and ready to share openly with the world. While this may something of interest for her fans as she constantly dishes about her love life with Consuelos, her three children may beg to differ. Especially her daughter Lola after her parents revealed to the world that she walked in on them on the morning of her eighteenth birthday.
While it may have been Lola Consuelos’ birthday, her parents had something to celebrate since they gave birth and it was Father’s Day. The couple laughed about it the morning after on an episode of ‘Live With Kelly and Ryan’, explaining that their daughter caught them in the middle of the act.
‘Thanks for ruining my birthday. And thanks for ruining my life,’ Ripa recalled Lola yelling as she ran out of her parents’ bedroom. ‘I used to see in color, and now everything is gray!’
In a more recent TMI session, the couple dished about their sex life on the Friday episode of SiriusXM’s ‘Radio Andy’s Quarantined with Bruce’ during their chat with hosts Andy Cohen and Bruce Bozzi.
After Cohen mentioned that he had been going without sex, Ripa addressed the question of abstaining with Consuelos. ‘What’s the longest you’ve ever gone without sex?’ Ripa asked her husband.
‘I would say seventeen and a half years,’ Consuelos said candidly referring to his life before adulthood. ‘I’ve been on the ride since.’
Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa go one to say that they only time that their relationship lacks intimacy is when the two are traveling or on the road, away from each other.
When asked by Cohen what they attribute their healthy sex life to Ripa answers with, ‘I think we found each other at the right time in our lives. We were really young, not that that’s the right time. We were really pliable to each other. We really learned each other well. With that comes a certain level of comfort and confidence and experimentation and just fun.’
