Venus Williams has been cleaning her home in a swimsuit. The 39-year-old former tennis no.1 updated her Instagram with an eye-catching snap this weekend – while Venus' January promo for the household cleaning giant had fans stumped, little in the way of negativity manifested in early responses to the seven-time Grand Slam winner's Saturday update.

Much like sister Serena, Venus is currently in quarantine on account of the COVID-19 pandemic, with her post today coming from Jupiter, Florida. A cash incentive may have fueled this power clean, but the snap showed that Venus does the chores like the rest of us.

Venus' photo showed her solo and in her home, backed by tiled floors and ordinary furnishings. The star was shooting the camera somewhat of a bored expression, seen holding a vacuum cleaner in one hand and a spray container of Clorox in the other – droplets all over a glass table in front of the star suggested full cleaning mode.

The rock-hard body was on show, though. Venus was flaunting her ultra-built legs, gym-honed shoulders, and all-around ripped frame in a white bathing suit with the U.S.A.'s stars and stripes – a pink turban kept up the housewife look, though.

A caption summed it up.

"When quarantine is quaranCLEAN. #nodaysoff (?also I can’t stop putting swimsuits on when I wake up. Anyone else having wardrobe problems in quarantine????) #stayhome #besafe #safe #clean," Venus wrote.

Racking up over 16,000 likes in under 45 minutes, the update appeared a hit – it's worth bearing in mind that with 1.2 million Instagram followers, Venus has a smaller fanbase compared to 38-year-old sister Serena, who has over 12 million.

"We don’t mind the swimsuits! ??," one user wrote.

"Amazing all NATURAL ????," another said.

Venus' post today wasn't a full-blown ad, blurring the lines between influencing and random shout-out. That said, given that the athlete has a partnership with Clorox, it's likely that the post netted her some cash. Vox broke down the potential figures – note, these are just estimates.

"Influencers with up to 1 million followers can get $10,000 [per post], depending on the platform, and 1 million followers and up, you’re getting into territory where they can charge $100,000. Some can even get $250,000 for a post"

The Williams family has been making headlines amid coronavirus. The end of last week brought 23-time Grand Slam winner sister Serena in a Snow White dress as she baked pies in her kitchen – well, with a microwave. Jokingly saying she was "back," then "speaking of backs" that her dress didn't fit, Serena turned around to show a dress that did, indeed, prove undone at the back. Keep scrolling for the video.

"Snow back," Serena captioned the post.

The hilarious video quickly went viral, currently sitting at over 1.1 million likes.
