There is no question that Denise Richards has been made into the villain this season. This whole scandal between her and Brandi Glanville is a complete mess. Quite frankly, it has overtaken the fun nature of the show. Several of her castmates have outright stated or insinuated that she [will not be attending the reunion (whatever that will look like this year). However, these women fail to realize that Richards is no chump. She has dealt with worse while she was an A-list actress and, she was once married to Charlie Sheen who she still has to deal with.
Richards has now broken her silence and says she will certainly be attending the reunion. In fact, she sets the record straight. “The only people who’ve said that I’m not going to the reunion are some of the ladies on the show and they never asked me if I was going or not.” Richards gave an exclusive interview to “HollywoodLife.com” where she shared her plans for the reunion. “I’m planning on going if we still have [it]. I don’t know how we’re going to be doing the reunion now. Maybe things will be lifted, and we’ll be able to do it, even if it’s on Zoom.”
The actress makes sure to reiterate her statement for those in the back not paying attention. “I never said that I wasn’t going to be there. They’re the ones that are saying that.” Richards also shared how she feels about the cast members letting the cat out of the bag. “I look at things a little differently. I personally would’ve loved for everything to be played out on the show. We were filming for quite a few months together and why reveal storylines that have been in the media even before it aired?” Richards is totally right, but let’s be honest, Bravo needed something to get the fans excited.
Unfortunately, for her, it was this embarrassing and possibly completely false narrative brought on by Glanville and fueled by all the women but mostly Lisa Rinna if you follow the trailers and the constant comments she makes online. Richards has expressed her distaste for the way the show is being promoted since day one. She also questions why Glanville is even a factor when she hasn’t been on the show for several seasons in a fulltime (or even friends of the show) capacity.
Richards has come to the conclusion that she doesn’t have a lot of say in how things play out when it comes to reality TV but she will stick by what she did not say. “They’re the only ones saying that I’m not going to be there (for the reunion). Not me. I’ve never said that. And I have not quit,” said Richards, as for those rumors that she won’t be back next season it simply not true. “No one knows who’s going to be back next season. They have to ask us to come back. I never said I quit the show. And Bravo knows that!”
