Prince Harry is dealing with a number of adjustments right now. In addition to the coronavirus pandemic that is sweeping across the globe, he's also dealing with his exit from the royal family, which became official at the end of March.

Now, one source close to Harry and his wife Meghan Markle is suggesting that Prince Harry is feeling a little homesick right now. Not only is he on a different continent than his family, he's also unable to travel at all as a result of the virus.

Harry is feeling very far from home and homesick at the moment,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “It hasn’t helped that they are on lockdown in a place he doesn’t know and he is feeling cut off.”

The source added that, because of the time difference between the U.S. and the U.K., he doesn't even have a ton of time to talk with his family on the phone. The source said that he had "been in touch" with several members of his family, though.

According to reporting in The Guardian, Dr. Jane Goodall seemed to confirm the reporting that Harry was finding life a little difficult at the moment. “I don’t know how his career is going to map out, but yes, I’ve been in touch, though I think he’s finding life a bit challenging just now,” Goodall said.

Another source told Entertainment Tonight that the move has been particularly stressful for Harry, who's had to make more adjustments to his life as a result.

“Things have been stressful for Prince Harry since his move. It hasn’t been easy," the source said. “We know he’s been concerned for family in the UK, naturally, but he wants to do what he thinks is best for his own family."

It's understandable to think that Harry may be struggling at the moment. Meghan's time as a royal was rather limited, but Harry has lived his entire life as a member of the royal family, and he was raised in royal life.

On the Royals podcast, royal commentator Angela Mollard suggested that the coronavirus has only made the transition more difficult for Harry.

“His whole purpose in life was to serve people — he did it in his particular way with great humor and innovation but the fact that he doesn’t have that purpose at the center of his life I think would be incredibly challenging,” she said. “He’s also in an area, like the rest of us, nobody can really see their friends, but he’s not even in the same country as his friends."
