Kaia Gerber has been keeping her workouts behind the four walls of her home. The 18-year-old model and daughter to Cindy Crawford has mostly fronted media outlets this month for kicking off an Instagram book club and fostering adorable puppies amid COVID-19 – Kaia made headlines for being spotted collecting her second pup less than a week ago, with the new Louis Vuitton face appearing besotted with her new four-legged friend.
The grueling workout regimens continue for this star, though – even if she can’t access the celebrity-adored Dogpound gym she usually frequents.
Kaia’s Thursday Instagram stories came as reposts from Kirk Myers, founder of the Dogpound gym empire. Kaia was clearly home, seen engaging in a no-makeup workout as she leaned against a bench with her other arm stretched out.
Sports bras will showcase rock-hard abs. Kaia’s black spandex one was doing just that, with the model also rocking a matching pair of yoga pants as she showcased her steely-strong core.
“Kaia CRUSHING. Nothing can strop her!” appeared in text from Kirk with muscle-arm emoji. Kaia had thanked the chain for “helping me stay active at home.”
Kaia has stayed super-active on Instagram amid the global pandemic. Lightening her hair to a blonde shade has seen Kaia in the news on account of her trend-setting style, with an update made four days ago showing off both the lighter locks, plus the star’s fierce body as she lay on an outdoor couch in a tiny, leopard-print bikini.
Of course, one of Kaia’s The Labelle Foundation-fostered pups featured as Kaia wrote: “Best friends.” The update currently sits at over 368,000 likes.
Kaia has also fronted media outlets for choosing to social distance with some high-profile faces. The ex to Pete Davidson has featured in TikTok videos with supermodel Cara Delevingne, also being joined by actress Ashley Benson, plus BFF and “13 Reasons Why” star Tommy Dorfman. Tommy and Kaia have a platonic friendship that has seen them join forces for sensational social media updates – a joint bikini snap proved especially popular.
Kaia has also been spotted on walks with her famous pals, alongside a grocery trip showing her shopping for Clorox wipes while wearing vinyl gloves.
Elsewhere, Kaia has proven a talking point for her new Instagram book club. The model chose Irish novelist Salley Rooney’s popular “Normal People” book.
“Every week I’m gonna post a book to my stories and the following week I’ll jump on [Instagram Live]—sometimes with a friend, writer, [or] guest—so we can all talk about the book,” she wrote in the accompanying caption. So make sure to set yourself a reminder: The first conversation will be taking place this Friday at 5 p.m. PST,” Kaia wrote to launch the club.
