Coldplay has yet again stood up for a global cause and are all set to donate a one off signed vinyl to Tiny Changes Charity.
Tiny Changes Charity
The Tiny Changes Charity was set up in memory of Scott Hutchison who died in 2018.
Soon after, Scott’s family set up the charity to help improve mental health in teenagers and adults in Scotland and to help ‘young minds feel free and better’
The name of the charity has a close connection to the Late Frightened Rabbit frontman’s song ‘Head Rolls Off’. The lyrics of the song go “While I’m alive I’ll make tiny changes to Earth,” hence the name Tiny Changes.
Support Youth Mental Health
Tiny Changes spoke to NME last year on the occasion of completing its very first year as a charitable foundation. The conversation concluded how important it was for the Scott family to ‘support youth mental health.’

A statement pertaining to the donation said, “The two-color vinyl is a limited edition of one, which was released by Third Man Records. It also includes hand-drawn artwork personally signed by the band.”
The vinyl pressing will be put up for auction on Tiny Changes’ eBay Page on November 28 at 6 pm GMT. The bidding will start from £1.
Scott’s 40th Birthday
Pertaining to the auction, the charity said “Scott was born on November 20, 1981. This year, he would have turned 40. On the occasion of his birthday, his friends and family have decided to get together in Glasgow for a special fundraising event.”
“The event will mark Scott’s 40th birthday, and all the incredible things that Tiny Changes has been able to achieve so far.”
Things About ‘The Work’
Also out now is the new book ‘The Work’ which welcomes people into the world of Scott’s imagination.
“A lot of people say that this is Scott’s story or his journey. Sure, there are elements of that, but I see it as a physical space – a house or a building that you can go in different rooms at any point and see different things for yourself. Scott and the band made so many songs together and a sense of togetherness was what made them a huge success. This book gives those songs that same physicality and sense of space.” Frightened Rabbit drummer Grant said.
