Draya Michele straight-up stated that her latest Instagram share wouldn’t be staying live forever. The 35-year-old reality star and Mint Swim founder has already made headlines these past 24 hours for admitting that her snazzy glitter bikini was “a little roomy” – the “Basketball Wives LA” alum sunbathed in her best-selling merch on Wednesday, also showing her 8 million followers that, yes, this bikini ran too big.
Given that comments are seeing Draya called “the whole meal,” it looks like this update was a unanimous hit.
Definitely putting her money where her mouth it, Draya worked a caption that 100% reflected the status quo. The ex to Orlando Scandrick was seen flaunting her mind-blowing bikini body as she lay outdoors and backed by flowering shrubbery –a close-up finish afforded a sensational view of the mom’s insane abs, super-curvy hips, bronzed cleavage, plus her tattoos.
Draya’s glitter-banded black bikini was from her 2011-founded Mint Swim brand, with a shout-out to the label made in Draya’s caption.
“Laid out today. @mintswimusa #deletingsoon,” she wrote.
Racking up over 119,000 likes overnight, this post didn’t go unnoticed. It also brought in two famous faces – billionaire reality star Kylie Jenner left Draya a like, as did model and girlfriend to rapper Future, Lori Harvey.
As to the comments, Instagram appeared floored.
“The whole meal” one fan wrote.
“Puts down the taco,” another said.
Draya was politely asked not to remove her image – she was also asked if she might be considering removing her gun tattoo, to which she replied: “Yes.”
Draya’s Mint Swim brand is making big bucks thanks to its smart-thinking CEO. Draya founded the company with the $12,000 she’d saved up, then seeing it grow to be a $1 million one by 2017 – given that 22-year-old Kylie Jenner featured Mint Swim during her 2019 Turks & Caicos vacation, though, the company’s worth may well be much higher.
“I started with four styles of swimsuits and from there, things just grew via social media,” Draya told Refinery29 2019 in 2017.
Draya’s brand has also been giving back amid the COVID-19 pandemic. While plans to get Doordash to deliver free meals to healthcare workers got off to a bad start with a delivery fail, Draya got what she wanted earlier this week.
“I was going back and forth about things I can do to help out the healthcare and hospital staff. Thankfully, when I asked chipotle for help bringing lunch to the hospital staff nearby… THEY WERE TOTALLY DOWN!!!”
Doordash then doubled the burritos order, as Draya also wrote:
” … just a small token of appreciation to the medical staff giving their all during this on behalf of my brand @mintswimusa … thank you to everyone out their doing their part in this and keeping in mind that we are in this together. ??”
