Kelsea Ballerini‘s powerful vocals aren’t her only asset. The 26-year-old country singer has mostly been making headlines amid COVID-19 for the challenging timing of her March-released “kelsea” album – already dubbed an “ideal” social distancing companion by Rolling Stone, though, the Tennessee native’s third studio album is proving a hit.
Kelsea’s social media has been promoting her music, but it’s likewise been showing how the blonde passes her days while in quarantine. For Kelsea, sunshine ranks highly, with a new bikini update following her pre-Easter snap landing on her feed on Tuesday.
Kelsea’s latest batch of photos came as an image-heavy update. They opened with a stunning selfie of the “homecoming queen?” singer rocking the white string bikini she wore four days ago – here, the star was seen flaunting her killer swimsuit body as she caught some rays on a balcony.
Seen wearing white-rimmed retro shades in the selfie, then posting various indoor snaps that included her dog, her zen bathtub setup, plus an outdoor snack platter of cubed cheeses, grapes, and crackers, Kelsea captioned her update: “miss miscellaneous.”
Kelsea has kept her Instagram humorous amid the pandemic. Also prominent has been food as the star social distances. While Kelsea rolling around in bed and snacking on cookie dough made headlines on March 27 – sitting in bed with McDonald’s socks did the same – a more recent video has made waves.
Seen below, Kelsea’s video showed her doing push-ups in her kitchen and using the lowering move to dip mouth-held chips into a jar of Lays Ranch dip. The video sits at over 650,000 views.
Posts have proven more serious from Kelsea, though. A selfie of the stunner in a black tank top and matching baseball cap just under a week ago came captioned with an honest list of things that are “ok” to be feeling amid the pandemic.
“For whoever needs to hear this,” she began, adding:
“Whatever you’re feeling is ok. if you find this time to be a blank canvas to reset and rediscover your priorities and even yourself. that’s ok. if you find this time to be triggering. of anxiety, of fearing the unknown, of pain, of loss. that’s ok.”
Kelsea then encouraged followers to “call your mom. hug your dog. learn to cook. dance around your living room. or don’t.”
“I’m not going to lie, I had a few days of just being flat disappointed and pacing my floors trying to find a way around something there is no way around. However, the more I zoom out, the more I realize that this is a time where people want and need music more than ever,” Kelsea told Rolling Stone.
Kelsea isn’t alone in having released music during coronavirus. Miley Cyrus’ 20-year-old sister Noah recently released her “I GOT SO HIGH THAT I SAW JESUS” track.
