Halle Berry 100% knew how to keep Instagram entertained on Wednesday. The 53-year-old Oscar winner took to the platform to take on a new challenge centering around her quarantine status – COVID-19 sees the “Catwoman” star social distancing and staying home.
Having already made headlines for sharing her “next level delicious” Cheesy Bacon Ranch Chicken – also clapping back at trolling comments over son Maceo wearing high heels – Halle’s post today brought yet another update on how she’s staying busy amid the global pandemic.
Halle’s photo was an eye-catching one. It showed the MMA-trained star putting a fun twist on home accessories as she injected a little “Breakfast at Tiffany” spin on hanging out in her backyard. Seen rocking a black satin pillow worn as a strapless dress, Halle was flaunting her killer figure and sexy hips in the nude – the oversized cushion was, however, protecting the actress’ modesty.
High heels, a wide-brimmed hat, and statement shades accompanied a statement pose as Halle delivered boss vibes. The attractive stone and greenery setting perfected the shot as Halle wrote:
“You already KNOW you couldn’t keep me from the #PillowChallenge ?.”
Halle’s 6 million followers were on this one like bees to a honeypot. The post racked up over 62,000 likes in just 39 minutes, with comments proving likewise quick to come in.
“?????? But you made this look like the next red carpet best dressed outfit!” one fan wrote.
“Lawd,” another said, with cry-face emoji used to ask Halle to “turn around.”
“First Lady ❤️❤️❤️????” was another comment.
A reply quickly came in from DJ D-Nice – the 49-year-old recently sparked major romance rumors with Halle after they were caught flirting on Instagram Live.
“That’s why I couldn’t find my pillow!” he wrote.
Over 350 users liked the comment, with Halle appearing to flirt right back:
“@dnice I see you got jokes this morning,” she replied.
April 3 saw D-Nice reveal his relationship status and intentions with the single actress.
“No Zoom dates,” he told People: “I’m not that fortunate yet. Hopefully one day,” he said, adding:
“You know what, we were just having fun. Halle is my friend, and we were just having fun with it, like, it could be light flirting, but nothing serious. We really are just having fun with it.”
Halle made headlines earlier this month for an Instagram photo showing her lying in bed and seemingly asleep while wearing boxer shorts bearing “The Ellen Show” logo.
“Chillin’ in my #Ellen’s, waiting on my #Ellen’s, waiting on my next nothing appointment,” Halle wrote as she marked her 25th day in quarantine.
Halle has also urged fans to social distance, alongside sharing rare footage of 6-year-old son Maceo climbing stairs in high-heeled boots– Halle had no time for trolling gender comments as her boy wore ladies’ footwear.
