Kelly Ripa‘s Instagram was a giant trip down memory lane on Sunday. The “Live! With Kelly and Ryan” host took to the platform to mark Easter, also choosing her photo-heavy post as a moment to share some rare snaps of the three kids she shares with 48-year-old husband Mark Consuelos.
Kelly, 49, is somewhat of a throwback queen over on her Instagram – very much in the moment, though, have been the blonde’s recent quarantine videos, with Kelly bravely starting the #rootswatch as she shares her gray-haired roots amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Kelly’s snaps spanned a fair few years, with some showing her 18+ brood back in their childhood days. The opening shot showed 18-year-old daughter Lola Grace Consuelos with brothers Joaquin and Anthony – the NYU student was then seen with her siblings in various Easter throwbacks showing the kids with an Easter bunny in some. A family snap showing the talk show queen and her “Riverdale” star husband also featured, with the post closing with a photo of her hunky husband.
With over 25,000 likes clocked in just 36 minutes, the update appeared a hit.
A caption from Kelly sent her 2.7 million fans her best over Easter.
“Happy Easter with love from the Consuelos family to yours. Here’s some of my favorite Easter memories. (Or at least what is stored on this phone) ?????????,” she wrote.
Superstar singer Mariah Carey didn’t take long to leave a comment – the 50-year-old left Kelly four red heart emoji.
“Happy Easter!” came from 56-year-old reality star Lisa Rinna.
“That last pic, tho,” a fan added with a fire emoji – clearly, Mark is popular with Kelly’s followers.
New York City is now the world’s hardest-hit COVID-19 location, accounting for more than 8,600 deaths as the state records more cases than any other in the U.S.
Kelly recently reposted a video of Governor Andrew Cuomo as she honored her home city, also reaching out to its residents.
“From our home city of New York, to the far reaching borders of every city, state, and country around the globe, we will get through this together and we will all come out of this stronger. Our hearts are with everyone affected by #covid19. And we, at CHNGE, all wish you strength and perseverance and hope that you and those close to you stay safe and healthy during these times ?,” she wrote as a repost.
Lola isn’t your average teen, having had her Instagram on lock-down until 2019. The brunette proves much-loved despite the rarity of her updates, having wowed fans with her singing skills earlier this year. Lola keeps her personal life private, although she does share images of her boyfriend, having done so for his birthday.
Lola made headlines back in January as Kelly and Mark “shut down” their daughter’s debit card – pricey Postmates orders at NYU were seeing Lola order $7 salads that cost $25 with delivery. Kelly made the stern reveal on her show – of course, Lola subsequently wound up front-page new.
