'Teen Mom' Star Jenelle Evans Shares Details On Ongoing Cancer Scare

Jenelle Evans is going through a cancer scare, after having a dark spot removed from her leg that is being tested for skin cancer.

The 'Teen Mom' star revealed the scary situation on Instagram and showed off pictures of the before-and-after following the removal of the growth. The reality star claims to be having several skin issues and is reaching out to her followers for support.

In the pictures, Evans is wearing a bikini and is showing off a giant catfish that the family caught during a recent vacation. But, in the photo, Janelle circled the area on her leg -- that appears to just be a small freckle. In another similar shot, the 'Teen Mom' star is again on the beach and circled the tiny brown spot on her inner thigh.

"I Don't have any other pics, but this was the "freckle" removed due to asymmetry, and half of it turned dark brown," she captioned one of the photos. In this case, she is referring to "asymmetry" as the growth changing in size and shape. As we said, it is so small, it is hardly recognizable in the pictures.

Jenelle included a brutal picture of the area AFTER doctors removed the spot, and how it looks as she is recovering from the surgery. "Daily reminder...go get your moles checked yearly," she wrote.

At this point, Evans is having to wait for the results of the test, and it's unclear if the spot is actually skin cancer. "And for those asking, I'm still waiting on results," she wrote on IG. Hopefully, it turns out to just be a mole, and she will be just fine.

Interestingly, the reality star included another picture of her chest broken out in what appears to be a nasty rash. Again, she brought her fans in on the situation, saying, "and for those asking why I got a check-up. I'm wondering what this is...only happens when I go in the sun and itchy." In the snap, it shows up as small red dots spread out on her chest.

She continued, "I was suggested to wait until I breakout then call to immediately get a biopsy. Haven't had it done yet. Anyone have suggestions?" The good news, the internet came through for the 'Teen Mom' star and several noted that it looks like a "polymorphous light eruption." Luckily, she is now going to go over the possible diagnosis with her dermatologist.

Unfortunately, this week has been a drama-filled one for Evans after her husband -- David Eason -- was arrested in Columbus County North Carolina. According to reports, he was pulled over and booked for driving on a revoked license (not stemming from a DWI) and possession of an open container.

Back in May, Eason revealed his license was suspended over an "unpaid seatbelt ticket."
