Kelly Ripa was recently on the ‘Kelly and Ryan Show’ virtually from home, when she started to tear up over how her family ties are being stressed. The fear of catching the Coronavirus has become so prevalent with her family, that several of her kids won’t hug or talk to her.
Kelly‘s family are fairly well off with a sizeable monthly income and comfortable accommodations, (which has some trolls posting negative comments about her ‘privilege’) but apparently even a family as affluent as Ripa’s are feeling the effects of prolonged isolation.
Kelly‘s fans quickly posted their support for her in these tough times. Many expressed sympathies, sharing how they too are saddened by the negative impact this virus has had on their relationships.

News has regularly covered Kelly‘s family’s exploits. She and her husband donated a million dollars to relief efforts a few weeks back followed with statements about how they hope this whole situation blows over quickly.
Alas, things have taken longer than expected and it would appear the quarantine is starting to get to people. While some are able to find virtual work, many in the service industry have been laid off due to mandatory shutdowns for retail businesses.
This was covered by Kelly and co-host Ryan Seacrest on their show.

Another bit of news came up when Kelly posted an incredible picture of her mom with her around 1975. The style may be old school, but we love seeing pictures like this!
An excellent reminder that love is timeless and that staying positive is the most important thing right now.
At the time of this writing, she posted the picture two hours ago, yet the photo has nearly 1,000 comments!
