Jordyn Woods took less than an hour to spark a wave of complaints on her Instagram today. The 22-year-old model and former best friend to Kylie Jenner took to the platform in promo mode for the Frst Place fitness plans she now runs – the 2019-founded workout company accompanies Woods’ other ventures including her popular SECNDNTURE athleisurewear line.
Having dropped a reported 30 pounds since her February 2019 cheating scandal with Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson, Jordyn was looking fighting fit in her snap. Her 11.5 million followers spotted something in the background, though.
Jordyn’s double-whammy photos showed her posing in her home gym. The entrepreneur and fitness fiend was showing off her muscles and her curves as she posed in a skin-tight pair of gray yoga pants with cute peep bands, also flashing her rock-hard abs in a cropped black tee bearing the First Place logo.
The opening mirror selfie (seen below) came with a wall sign – “Hello SKINNY LEGEND,” it read. Woods then took to her caption to announce a $1,000 prize giveaway for two lucky users completing her 8-week home workout.
Alongside the 131,000 likes racked up in three hours, Jordyn’s post also brought in a huge wave of comments. The star was called “body goals” by one fan, with many others asking whether the competition applied to “Americans only” or even “females only” – Woods answered that it’s open to all.
Shooting up via likes was a response challenging the “skinny” sign.
“Change that sign to say “strong” instead of skinny,” one fan wrote.
“Now that was shade,” a user immediately remarked, with Woods then spotting the comment and replying: “Ok.”
The storm continued.
A small thread did form from the comment.
“She can have whatever she wants at her house, She pays for It, so why you feel the need to Tell someone what kind of decoration or what’s better for that sign?” one user wrote.
“Thick legend would be iconic,” another stated.
Elsewhere, Woods received comments on her figure overall – while being told she “looks like a snack” was flattering, a user asking “Who did your tummy tuck?” proved less-so. Jordyn was accused of undergoing liposuction back in 2018.
Trolls are alive and well on Jordyn’s Instagram, although the fan dubbing the model “irrelevant” did add: “You bad.”
Jordyn has made headlines these past weeks. Her Abu Dhabi travels with sister Jodie and mom Elizabeth sparked a wave of anger as the three donned abayas outside the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque – Woods was forced to apologize after calling Islam “a culture,” with many Muslim users finding her donning the traditional Islamic dress either insufficient in hair coverage or an attempt to mock the religion.
Woods further fronted media outlets for being stuck in Abu Dhabi and unable to fly home amid the coronavirus pandemic. The star is now safely back in the U.S. and in quarantine.
