Former “Beverly Hills 90210” star Tori Spelling is catching a lot of flack online from fans and haters alike. Spelling, who has been vocal over the years about her money or lack thereof is always looking for new ways to make an extra dollar. She and her husband Dean McDermott have five kids together and McDermott has a 21year-old son from his previous marriage to Canadian actress and TV host Mary Jo Eustace. Clearly, they need to make all the money they can together.

One popular platform that celebs mostly, influencers and reality TV stars are using as a means to make extra money is Cameo. This format allows celebs to share personal messages to their fans. You can pay a celeb to give you a live facetime call, leave you a voicemail, or you can pay them to send well wishes for almost any occasion for a friend, family, or loved one. Spelling has decided to reach out to her fans in a similar way.

Spelling posted a message to her fans on her IG account that has since been deleted offer a meet-and-greet with her for the low low price of $95. According to "Us Weekly", the post read, "Can't wait to do my first ever virtual meet and greet Thursday, April 9 at 5pm PDT. Only 20 spots available so reserve your spot now. Link in my bio xoxo.” Excited fans clicked the link Spelling left but were shocked and annoyed at learning it would be a [whopping $95]( to basically see and not even get to touch her.

Where’s the pull? Fans wanted to know why Spelling thought it was appropriate to try to gouge the pockets of her fans during a pandemic. One follower lashed out saying, “You need to stop trying to capitalize off people right now. People are DYING. Out of work, damn near homeless and you want US to PAY your debts off?!? You should be ashamed. I don't even care if you block me after this, you are a terrible person.” Ouch, harsh words.

Here's the problem though, Cameo is a whole site dedicated to connecting famous people with their fans isn’t Spelling just cutting out the middle man? the price tag attached to her meet-and-greet was foul, we will back fans on that one but calling out only Spelling for doing this is a little irrational. If she lowered the price, it may not have been so bad but it’s too late for that. Even if she tried to adjust the price, she has already upset way too many people. So far it looks like the site is still active with the same $95 price tag, this is screaming DRAMA!!!
