Whitney Port Shares Devastating Pregnancy Loss, Weeks After Predicting Miscarriage

This is a sad time for Whitney Port, who broke the news that she has suffered another miscarriage with her husband, Tim Rosenman.

Port and Rosenman share a son Sonny Sanford, 4, and have been looking to add another member to their family.

The American TV personality previously predicted that she might have a miscarriage, but she hoped for a positive result.

Over a week ago, Port broke the news that she was seven weeks into what she considered another unhealthy pregnancy. 

PEOPLE reported that, on November 17, the reality star announced via her Instagram Story that she and her husband have unfortunately suffered a miscarriage.

A saddened Port said that she and Rosenman found out on Tuesday, and she recorded a verbal diary of her emotions that night.

The 36-year-old promised to share the recording on her podcast next week and sent her love to people dealing with miscarriages. 

Port displayed her fighting spirit by saying that her glass is half full and she does not "physically feel like complete s*** anymore."

When Port and Rosenman shared her past pregnancy news, they were in low spirits and worried about the state of the growing fetus, per The Blast.

In a video uploaded to her YouTube page, the mother-of-one told viewers she was "stressed and overwhelmed" over believing that she had an "unhealthy pregnancy."

Port, who sat beside Roseman, said they were excited about the pregnancy until they received sad news about her condition.

The podcast host said she had constant doctor visits to monitor her baby's state due to her history of miscarriages. The 36-year-old added:

"I’ve had two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy. And everything was looking good up until yesterday."

During Port's routine ultrasound, the doctor realized she was experiencing pregnancy progressions that were not suited for the week she was at.

The fashion designer said her doctor was sweet and sensitive when sharing the news but "pessimistic" about her pregnancy findings.

In her YouTube video, Port said she believes that keeping her pregnancy struggles a secret is "weird and wrong."

Rosenman noted that nothing they did would affect the pregnancy's viability, and they are the sharing type who have a community to draw strength from. 

The "Whitney Eve" founder said her pregnancy debacle is a huge part of her family's life and affects everything "physically and mentally." She explained:

"I couldn’t just sit here and go on with my life and not share it… And I know that there’s likely so many people out there that have had to deal with this."

The mother-of-one expressed that her inability to provide her husband a second child and her son a sibling made her feel hopeless. 

Viewers sent prayers to the couple. A well-wisher commented that the "wait 12 weeks" stigma forced women to suffer silently, adding that Port needs all the support. 

Another fan expressed her pride in the parents for sharing their journey. The user agreed that there's a stigma around keeping pregnancies a secret that forces people to grieve in private.
