17-year-old Bhad Bhabie has been accused of cultural appropriation ever since her appearance on Dr. Phil's show in 2017 where she disrespected her mom on national TV. Many people on social media believe she does everything to try to copy black women's looks and even accused her of being racist due to her responses to cultural appropriation. The latest scandal involving Bhabie and cultural appropriating comes from a look she showed off while she was doing a photoshoot.

Bhabie looked almost unrecognizable in the two videos that she took to Instagram. Many believed that she didn't look like her own ethnicity at all. This is being labeled as "blackfishing" where someone darkens their skin to appear as a different race as opposed to their own.

We're seeing people on social media respond to these videos such as saying Bhabie is delusional and while another user said "Bhad Bhabie looks like a f*cking goofy and that’s all I’ll be saying on that."

The Bhad Bhabie criticism continued on Twitter as users believe that she wants to be black so bad and that she needs to use makeup foundation that is actually used for white girls instead. Not surprisingly, another user said that we need to go back and prevent Bhabie from going on Dr. Phil's show. She is now clapping on her Instagram stories to the people who are coming at her and now, she's trying to play the victim role.

”Millions of people sick, thousands dying every day and y’all worried about me getting my makeup done for a photoshoot? I’m usually the wild one but y’all need to chill and focus on what’s important right now.”

Bhabie tried to use the excuse of people dying at the hands of the coronavirus pandemic as why she shouldn't get criticized for blackfishing. She never addresses social justice issues in our country like racism, police brutality, racial profiling, etc, but she still wants to cultural appropriate black women's hair and their looks. On top of this, she got famous on social media for verbally attacking her mother on Dr. Phil's show by telling her "catch me outside, how about that?"

Sadly, there are a lot of social media who don't realize what Bhad Bhabie is doing. A lot of people are simply blinded by fame and someone's social media clout.

Ever since the Dr. Phil incident in 2017, Bhabie went on to sign with Atlantic records. Three songs went gold in 2018 and that same year, her "Gucci Flip Flops" single featuring Lil Yachty went on to go platinum. She's also collaborated with Tory Lanez,Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Baby, and more.
