People around the world have been doing all they can to fight the COVID-19 global pandemic. For some, this means staying indoors, wearing masks, or frequently washing their hands. Those who can are donating money for relief aid, volunteering for those who need help to get by, and producing protective gear or food for those who require it.

Many celebrities have been among the donation camp, giving millions to try to help fight the virus. Kim Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner are about to join the cause.

Kylie Jenner was one of the first of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars to publicly donate to desperately underprepared doctors fighting the Coronavirus pandemic.

The youngest of the KarJenner family -- whom some label as a self-made billionaire -- has donated $1 million to help provide personal protective equipment to doctors and first responders treating COVID-19 patients. Items like masks and gloves are intended to be purchased with the funds. Many hospitals are low on these supplies, putting medical personnel in dangerous positions.

While Kim and Kylie are using their companies to help protect those fighting the Coronavirus pandemic, some of their production has been forced to shut down.

Both sisters released statements saying they would be halting production of their beauty lines -- KKW Beauty and Kylie Cosmetics, respectively. Both are open for orders but shipments may be delayed. Refunds are also being offered for those who do not want to wait for their products. Kylie's Kylie Skin company has been able to remain open at this time.
