Chelsea Houska took a matter of hours to have fans asking: “Who looks that good in sweats?” today. The “Teen Mom 2” star appeared in a new photo posted to the Lily and Lottie clothing brand on Monday – the branch of affordable apparel label, Lauribelles is both one that the redhead influences for and has a full-blown collaboration with.
Chelsea is currently in quarantine with husband Cole DeBoer and three children Aubree, Watson, and Layne. The home time that saw Chelsea deliver a bombshell Swiss mountain girl look recently did see the MTV face glam up, but it likewise saw her ask Instagram for an “amen” as she returned to sweats. Keep scrolling for the snaps.
The photo showed Chelsea shot in a daylit living room and 100% focusing on an array of denim jackets laid out on the floor. Photographed leaning forward and in semi-profile, Chelsea appeared in a co-ordinating tan-colored sweats look, seen rocking comfy-looking sweatpants with a matching hoodie – white string ties added a touch of pizzazz as the star stood barefoot.
Glam was there as Chelsea showcased her trademark thick lashes, but the finish was unfussy as the South Dakota-based star wore her fiery red locks in a messy low bun with loose strands falling around her face.
While celebrities including Kailyn Lowry have been slammed for appearing in promotional content amid a global pandemic, responses to this post showed a fanbase keen to shop Chelsea’s look.
“Where are they available to purchase?” one user wrote.
“Who looks that good in sweats?! [email protected],” another said.
“I want those sweats!!! Are those coming??” a third asked.
Chelsea recently went on a giant “try-on haul” as she admitted that the influencing had to be done from home instead of the usual studio setup.
Chelsea has been keeping a relatively low profile on social media these past weeks, choosing to share stories over posts – the former only remain live for 24 hours.
Today showed Cole and the kids outdoors, with Chelsea making headlines on March 30 for absolutely stunning in a beanie while enjoying the South Dakota wilderness in rare footage that included all three children and 2016-married husband Cole.
“What you got, buddy?” Chelsea had asked 3-year-old son Watson as he carried a giant twig.
“Tree!!” he replied.
Meanwhile, fellow cast member Kailyn Lowry has been receiving negative press. The 28-year-old, currently pregnant with her fourth boy, found herself slammed after an Instagram promo for Fetch Rewards saw her posing a kitchen stacked with foods ranging from apple juice and grapes to Little Bites, Chewy granola bars, and ketchup.
“All I see is sugar,” one fan had said.
“So much processed, sugar food ?,” another had said.
Promo activity on Instagram isn’t limited to Chelsea and Kailyn. Leah Messer had fans threatening to unfollow her following a Flat Tummy App promo earlier this year. Mackenzie McKee and former MTV face Jenelle Evans also promote weight-loss or fitness products.
