Kelly Clarkson is coming back to TV. "The Voice" host will begin shooting segments of her talk show, "The Kelly Clarkson Show," remotely from her ranch in Montana.

The new segments will apparently give fans a more intimate look at Clarkson's life, and will also feature previously unseen footage from segments that were filmed before the show halted production on March 13. One new episode of the show, filmed from Clarkson's ranch in Montana, will air every week for the foreseeable future.

In addition, this summer the show will tape "The Kelly Clarkson Show: Summer Studio Sessions." Each episode that is filmed entirely in Montana will feature Clarkson highlighting a different "Good Neighbor." Specifically, the segments will focus on healthcare workers who have been on the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus.

Like many talk show hosts, Clarkson is also planning on holding interviews with celebrities remotely, and also plans on sharing additional "Bathroom Kellyoke" sessions from her house too.

The show continued to air new episodes for a while even after production on the show shut down thanks to a backlog of content that had been pre-taped. Many episodes were also pre-empted by breaking news coverage, which meant that the backlog of episodes that they had could last longer.

Some of the episodes also featured "Messages from Montana," a segment where Clarkson would introduce the show from her home as she was self-quarantining to prevent the spread of the virus.

Between the new episodes filmed from Montana and the rest of the episodes that the show has pre-taped, the show plans to make it through the remainder of the broadcast season. Over the summer, Clarkson will team up with NBCUniversal to produce additional content.

"The Kelly Clarkson Show: Summer Studio Sessions" promise to be an intimate experience that will be filmed in a recording studio in Los Angeles. In the show, Clarkson will continue many of the segments featured on "The Kelly Clarkson" show.

The first full Montana episode will air on Friday, and will feature a performance from Clarkson as well as an interview with Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrik, who star in "Trolls: World Tour."

Clarkson is just the latest talk show host to transition to filming shows remotely in response to the coronavirus crisis. Late night hosts have been filming remotely for weeks, which has meant conducting interviews virtually and getting performances recorded in the same manner whenever it's possible to do so.
