Anna Kournikova clocked herself over 122,000 likes in under 45 minutes today. The 38-year-old former tennis player and new mother made headlines for welcoming her third baby On January 30 – together with boyfriend Enrique Iglesias, the Russian is also a parent to 2017-born twins.
A mere two months after welcoming her baby girl Mary – also called Masha in Russian – the former World no. 8 took to Instagram for the first update since the birth announcement. The adorable photo had fans melting on the baby front. It also showed this super-fit star to have snapped right back.
Anna’s Monday photo showed her candidly photographed and inside her kitchen – a wine cooler and island stove were visible as the Moscow-born star held her beautiful baby. Anna was looking fit and ripped as she posed in a backless and muscle-flaunting top in dark shades, with the skimpy number also showing a black spandex sports bra beneath. Kournikova’s rock-hard arms and sculpted shoulders were on show as she smiled while rocking a ponytail – baby Masha wore white and a feeding bib as she gazed ahead.
Comments came in fast for this one. Many fans responded in Russian, although with an international fanbase, Anna comes with her Anglophone fans.

Of course, the star’s sensational post-baby body was noticed, with one fan writing: “Always so fit after birth.”

Anna retired from professional tennis at the age of 21, appearing to have kept up the training that made her physique envied by millions.
Anna is notoriously private, having consistently declined to detail her relationship with 44-year-old Iglesias over the years. Opting out of announcing her third pregnancy, the blonde made headlines as her bump grew when she was photographed on a Miami yacht during the pregnancy. She took to Instagram to mark the birth, posting a close-up photo of herself and her newborn.
“My sunshine 01.30.2020,” she wrote.
Anna has, however, opened up on motherhood overall.
“I love being a mom,” she told The Sun in 2019, adding:
“I absolutely wanted to have children, whether I had my own or adopted.”
Anna’s feature with the British newspaper also saw her speak of her career. The star went pro aged just 14.
“I would get so nervous and get anxiety on the court,” she said, continuing: “I wouldn’t be able to move.”
Also mentioned was the star’s body image as she admitted to feeling “pressure when people were saying things like: You’re too pretty, you can’t play, or whatever.”
Anna has 1.5 million Instagram followers, up from 1.2 million in October 2019.
