Chris Daughtry's Daughter's Friend Exposes Volatile Relationship With Boyfriend

Chris Daughtry’s stepdaughter, Hannah Price, was unexpectedly and tragically found dead at her home last weekend.

The cause of her death is currently under investigation, and there are no confirmed suspects at this time.

Previous reports claimed her death was a homicide; however, the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office is saying it’s too ‘premature’ to classify her death a homicide.

Hannah’s mother, Deanna, suspected there was foul play involved noting her daughter sustained multiple injuries before her death.

Some believe her estranged boyfriend, Bobby Jolly, was involved in her death. He was arrested the same day her body was discovered. Jolly has NOT been charged or even named a person of interest in this case.

Now, The Blast is getting inside details about Hannah’s life before her passing.

The Blast exclusively spoke to a friend of the late Hannah Price, earlier today...

The last time Hannah's friend, Hannah and Jolly were all together was in August. When asked how their relationship seemed at the time and her friend said, “they were both laughing and lovey.”

Coincidentally, when asked about the last time she spoke to Hannah it was also in August.

“About the same time. August. Me and a few of her friends think that Bobby stopped letting her talk to many people,” she revealed.

We asked her point blank if she believes Jolly killed Hannah.

“Honestly when I first heard about her death I thought so. Especially since he was arrested the same day and in his mug shot he was smiling,” she admitted. “But I started to think that it might not have been him, for one there’s no proof it was Bobby. If there had been more details then that could lead to him being a suspect just because of the abusive past. I believe that if they do rule it as a homicide then Bobby should be a suspect but he shouldn’t be the only suspect.”

But here’s where things take an interesting and unexpected turn...

We asked our source if she knew of anyone else who might have wanted to hurt Hannah.

The friend said Hannah had reportedly been on dating sites for 'older men that give you money.’

She explained that she had another friend who partook in this style of dating, and claimed several people had "gone missing" and/ or "were murdered" from being involved with these type of sugar daddy sites.

She also mentioned the possibility that a gang may have had some kind of involvement in her death.

In 2018, Hannah was shot in the eye during a gang attack. She apparently spoke publicly about it on her Facebook page and her friend felt this could’ve been looked at as “snitching.”

“There was an apparent gang attack and she had just recently posted about it on Facebook and maybe they seen it as ‘snitching’ and they did what they had to do?,” she told us.

As we said, her cause of death is still under investigation, and all of the information from this interview are simply opinions of a friend, and do not reflect the opinions of The Blast, or Blast Staff.

She previously commented on an IG photo admitting she thought he may have been involved in Hannah’s death. It's important to note that authorities are still claiming it is simply a "death investigation" and not a murder investigation.

Others have gone to Jolly's Instagram page over the past few days to make their feelings about his suspected involvement in her death known, commenting on his last post from over 20 weeks ago.  Hannah's friend chimed in to give her take on the situation.

“Honestly I thought the same thing. I thought he may have done it because I was close with Hannah and knew how he was abusive but there’s always innocent until proven guilty. Just because he has a past of abuse doesn’t mean he murdered her. It’s immature to say he did such a thing without no proof at all.”

We asked her about her directly about her IG comment and she explained that it's his history with Hannah that has her concerned. She stated that he would “yell at her and not let her leave her house.”

“Bobby and I hardly ever spoke. He would try and talk to me but I wasn’t a fan of him for how he treated her. He added me on one of my Facebook pages when I lived with her but I declined it,” she said adding that they had only met a handful of times.

Our source told us the story of how her and Hannah met. The two were former roommates in Monterey, TN. They lived together for about a month and a half from April to May of this year, after meeting in a Walmart parking lot.

The stepdaughter of Daughtry gave money to her when her car ran out of gas. From that moment on, they became good friends.

The friend said her favorite memory of Hannah was when they walked through Can Creek Park in Cookeville, TN and fed ducks in the water. During this walk they shared their hopes and dreams with each other. She said they chatted about how they both wanted to go to Florida one day. She expressed her dream of 'becoming a cop', and Hannah wanted to one day be a doctor, among many other things.

She added that she is still not able to “really process it [Hannah’s death].”
