After years of topless swimming and hot tubbing and non-stop partying on behalf of the Tres Amigas, Tamra Judge and her bestie Vicki Gunvalson will not be returning to 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' for Season 15. Judge was asked to return on a smaller scale, but she refused. "It’s been a wild ride, and after all these years, I’m looking forward to life away from the cameras," Judge told People magazine in an interview. "I was offered a chance to come back to the show in a limited role, but would prefer to walk away on my own terms."

Bravo had asked Judge to appear in a three-episode arc to wrap up her storyline - including a throat cancer diagnose for her ex-husband, Simon Barney - but she said no. "Those three episodes wouldn’t make any sense to me because I am very much a person who is very honest on the show," Judge added. "At the time, Simon did not want to come forward with it, so I could not talk about it. It didn't make any sense for me to be like, 'I’m sorry, I've been very busy now, gotta go,' because it would be a lie. I couldn't be honest. I couldn't be real." Without her honesty, however, Judge says she believes the show will suffer.

Eddie Recovering After Health Scare

Eddie and Tamra Judge celebrated Eddie's birthday with takeout from a favorite place.

Tamra joined 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' during its third season. Her marriage to Barney came to a blistering end at the close of Season 5, when Tamra famously shouted at Barney in the limo on the way to Vicki's party, "I want a divorce." She married Eddie Judge three years later in a special event. They later opened CUT Fitness, but Eddie's diagnosis with AFib, a heart condition marked by irregular heartbeats, kept Eddie sidelined for several seasons. He is now recovering.

Some Show Relationships Worth Maintaining

Tamra Judge has kept in contact with only a handful of the women from "The Real Housewives of Orange County."

Now that she's left 'The Real Housewives of Orange County,' Tamra has kept in contact with only a handful of her former castmates, including "Shannon (Beador), Gina (Kirschenheiter) and Vicki," Tamra said during an appearance on Kelly Dillon's podcast, 'Kickin' Back with Kelly.' Both Tamra and Vicki unfollowed Shannon on social media in March. There are some former castmates that she hasn't stated in contact with, including Emily (Simpson) and Kelly (Dodd). Still, she considers all of the women her friends, despite any animosity they may have had during filming.

"In a small way, I'll miss them all, I really will," Tamra said of the 'RHOC' cast. "I think as dysfunctional we were as friends and the way we called each other out and stuff, we were still friends. Me and Kelly really were still friends." According to Tamra, her family - including Eddie and her four children, sons Ryan, 34, and Spencer, 19, and daughters Sydney, 21 and Sophia, 14, are especially pleased to see her gone from the show. "Eddie and the kids are very excited,” Judge says.
