By Carol Cassada

"The Talk" has been one of the CBS network's popular daytime series.

Created by actress Sara Gilbert, the show was similar to ABC's "The View."

The original panel of women included Gilbert, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini, and Holly Robinson Peete.

Every day the women would discuss the latest news happening in the world, then interview their celebrity guests.

The award-winning show is now in its 10th season. Much like its competitor "The View," "The Talk" has been rumored to have backstage drama.

So let's take a look at some of the drama that has plagued the CBS talk show.

Actresses Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete were two of the show's original co-hosts.

Yet, after the show's first season, it was announced that Leah and Holly wouldn't be returning.

Fans were shocked because they thought Leah and Holly were good additions to the cast. The two women entertained viewers with stories about their lives and their opinions on topics.

Shortly after Leah's exit, she opened up about what went down behind the scenes.

During an interview on "The Howard Stern Show," Remini revealed that Sharon Osbourne played a part in her getting fired.

Remini said that she was shocked Osbourne had her fired because she thought the two of them were friends.

Remini went on to say that Osbourne didn't like her outspokenness, which was another reason for her departure.

Leah wasn't the only co-host that Sharon was rumored to have a problem with.

Early in the show's debut, tabloids reported that Sharon and the show's creator, actress Sara Gilbert were feuding behind the scenes.

The ladies addressed the report on the show and dismissed it as rubbish.

If there was any feud, it's obvious the women are on good terms now.

When Sara announced her departure from the show in 2019, Sharon broke down in tears saying she was going to miss her friend.

However, the two continue to work together.

Sharon and Ozzy have made appearance on Sara's ABC sitcom "The Connors" and are rumored to be getting their own spinoff.

Julie Chen's Departure

When "The Talk" premiered in October 2010, Julie Chen sat at the head of the table.

The former news anchor and "Big Brother" host acted as moderator as she engaged the rest of the ladies in that day's topic discussion.

In September 2018, after news broke about sexual assault allegations towards her husband, CBS CEO Les Moonves, Chen decided to leave.

Since then Chen and her husband have been staying mum on his situation and keeping out of the spotlight.

As for "The Talk," they brought on "Dancing With the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba to be their new co-host.

More Trouble With The Co-hosts?

Season ten of "The Talk" kicked off with Sharon, Sheryl Underwood, Eve, and Carrie Ann Inaba welcoming Marie Osmond as their new co-host.

The new co-host seems to fit right in with the rest of the group and has been a hit with viewers.

However, recently fans are wondering if there's a possible feud brewing between Marie and Sharon.

Due to the coronavirus, production of the show has been shut down, but the ladies are continuing the show via webcams from their homes.

During one of last week's episodes, the women discuss the coronavirus pandemic and Sharon was offended by Marie saying she was intrigued by the virus.

Marie tried to apologize for the wrong use of words, but Sharon piped in with her own opinion.

Their exchange led to speculation that a feud is brewing between the two, however Sharon dismissed it.
