New 'Bachelorette' Clare Crawley Kept A Very Important Dress

She was recently announced as this year's newest 'Bachelorette' and so she was apparently feeling all sentimental while thinking about her start with the franchise.

Clare Crawley first appeared on our television screens when she was runner-up on 'Bachelor' super villain Juan Pablo's season. In an iconic moment for the show, Crawley told him off, even claiming she would never want her children to have a father like him. To which Juan Pablo replied, "okay," in the most condescending way possible.

Seriously, Andi Dorfman must have thrown her wine glass at the screen in a blind rage.

Clare Crawley Revealed She Saved The Dress From The Juan Pablo Finale

Crawley recently revealed on her Instagram stories that she actually saved the dress she was wearing from that fateful day.

She posted a picture of the turquoise, floor-length dress, writing, “Cleaning out closets today… look familiar?!”

Despite the fact that her season has halted filming due to the coronavirus pandemic, Clare appears to be remaining positive.

A fan of the show recently tweeted, "I feel so bad for Claire because she hasn’t got start her journey to find love yet @Clare_Crawley #TheBachelorette

Clare replied, “The journey already began long before I had this opportunity, don’t feel bad! It’s an exciting new chapter."

Crawley Is Considered A Breath Of Fresh Air

Host Chris Harrison took to his own Instagram, claiming, “We don’t have a set time of when we’re going to come back. Obviously with this virus, who knows when this thing is going to blow through."

Clare is considered a breath of fresh air as the new 'Bachelorette' with a 'Vulture' article quite correctly saying, "With the crop of Peter Weber’s Bachelor women primarily fitting the mundane 'aspiring Instagram influencer' demographic, the franchise has chosen to look back in order to revitalize its new era of Bachelorettes."

Crawley Has Done A Number Of Stints On 'Bachelor' Franchise Shows

Crawley appeared on two seasons of 'Bachelor In Paradise' before getting engaged during her stint on 'Bachelor: Winter Games.'

Benoit Beauséjour-Savard proposed to Clare during the tell-all, however, they split amicably just a few months later.

Beauséjour-Savard has been super supportive of Crawley becoming the next 'Bachelorette,' writing on Instagram: "Congratulations to this gem!! She will be an amazing Bachelorette. She is smart, fun, strong, knows what she wants and most importantly, she will call out the guys messing around!! Hell yeah!! Good Luck on your journey to find love @clarecrawley !! You will be the best #thebestbacheloretteever"

Crawley Revealed The Finale Was An Empowering Moment

In the Instagram post about keeping her dress from the 'Bachelor' finale, Crawley reveals one of the reasons why she kept it was because it was "the most empowering moment" of her life.

She even teased fans of the show, writing “Just wait til you see my Clare 2.0 dress.”

Will Crawley find love during her season of 'The Bachelorette'? Let's hope so, since this will be the fifth time she has done a stint on a 'Bachelor' franchise show.
