Kaia Gerber isn’t spending her home time stuffing her face with Pringles. The 18-year-old model and daughter to Cindy Crawford has replaced her in-person visits to celebrity-adored gym chain, Dogpound with virtual ones. While the new Louis Vuitton face has raised eyebrows for enjoying her “fair share of social interaction” amid recommended stay-home advice, the weekend saw little in the way of public frolicking as Kaia updated her Instagram solo and in workout mode.
Shouting out personal trainer and Dogpound founder Kirk Myers, Kaia updated her stories with a quick –and very sweaty – snapshot.
Kaia’s selfie was a simple one. It showed the brunette 100% makeup-free and glowing from her sweat session, also showing off the workout’s intensity via matted hair and a sweat patch on her clothing. The super-slim and toned frame was on show as the camera took in Kaia’s slender shoulders and flat stomach, with the star seen in an Under Armour sports bra in blue spandex – hints of blue yoga pants were also visible.
“The result of a facetime session,” Kaia wrote, also shouting out Kirk Myers and Dogpound. Over on Kirk’s Instagram, the trainer wrote:
“THANK YOU @kaiagerber for CRUSHING IT TODAY on facetime training session ?? PROUD OF YOU! #letsgoooo #smashcity @dogpound ???”
Kaia has been making headlines for choosing to spend her quarantine time with high-profile faces. The ex to SNL comedian Pete Davidson has featured in multiple Instagram updates with “13 Reasons Why” star Tommy Dorfman, also delivering a TikTok dance with actress Ashley Benson and supermodel Cara Delevingne in the background. The threesome has been spotted on a group outing, although Kaia has equally been seen shopping like other celebrities – a store trip in Mid-March saw her grabbing Clorox wipes while wearing protective vinyl gloves.
Kaia’s most recent headline-making has centered around her new Instagram book club. Irish novelist, Sally Rooney’s hugely popular “Normal People” was chosen to kick off the series as Kaia promised more to come.
“Every week I’m gonna post a book to my stories and the following week I’ll jump on [Instagram Live]—sometimes with a friend, writer, [or] guest—so we can all talk about the book,” she wrote on Instagram, continuing:
“Make sure to set yourself a reminder: The first conversation will be taking place this Friday at 5 p.m. PST.”
High-brow looks haven’t featured much on Kaia’s Instagram as she social distances. The star has updated her account in hoodies as she snuggled with her dog, also seen in a bathrobe as she goofed around with her pals. An update made over the weekend did, however, see Kaia slip back into more regular clothing as she stunned in a powder-blue strap top and jeans, with a caption suggesting that she might well have been living in sweats.
“Almost forgot about jeans,” she wrote.
