This week has been full of drama between YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Kodak Black. These two have been going back and forth. Their issues all started when Yaya Mayweather, who is NBA YoungBoys girlfriend, stabbed YoungBoy’s other pregnant girlfriend. The pregnant girlfriend was last known to be in critical condition. This traumatic event took place at YoungBoys’ house and it seemed to have escalated quickly. After the stabbing, YoungBoy decided to make a post about the incident. This post caught the attention of Kodak Black.
These two started off cool with one another, even appearing on each other’s tracks. Some of their songs they appeared on included “Water” and “Chosen One.” Things turned sour when Kodak decided to release “Time Never Mattered.” Most fans noticed that some of the lyrics seemed to be taking shots at YoungBoy. The lyric was “Kodak never goin’ broke again, n—a you a free agent.” It does seem like that lyric was targeted towards YoungBoy. Back in 2019, it was rumored that NBA YoungBoy also dated Kodaks ex-girlfriend Dej.
After NBA said that he is allowing the police to conduct a full investigation of the incident, Kodak then accused NBA of cooperating with the police. “The hell they mean fully cooperated LOL. They ain’t say a lil piece bit, they say fully big. Anyways, man, that word ain’t even posed to be attached to your name. Dam Lil bra, don’t do dat Lil girl like dat man. I mean I’m locked up, but this got it lookin’ like it it was some otha s—t you’ll tell something.”
“This s—t make like u ws scrad den ppl was gone try charge u wit it or something so u screamed. Dat ain’t sa drip man U know we don’t holla at democrats ppl.” After this post, YoungBoy gets on Instagram live and addresses Kodak. “I ain’t never paid attention to a n—a, especially not from no mother—king cell. The f—k a n—a watching me for?” Yaya who was the aggressor of the bloody altercation made an appearance in the live video as well.
“I’ll keep posting homie. I’ll keep on clout chasing, in your voice n—a And make you do something boy, stop playing with me boy, for real boy,” Kodak says. This made YoungBoy respond with a video of Kodak exposing himself during a concert. After they continued to go back and forth YoungBoy suggested that he was over the drama. “When I’m dead, you can accept all the p—y a— these n—as come with. Until then, while I’m living we ain’t going for it,” YoungBoy writes.
