Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, also known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have finally made their long-expected arrival in the United States and have chosen Malibu as the place they want to call home while looking for jobs in entertainment.
According to the Express UK the couple have settled in the Los Angeles area for themselves and son Archie, and have settled, at least temporarily into a $20 million mansion, which was largely what was expected of the high profile couple.
According to royal expert Charlie Lankston, Meghan and Harry chose an area that could be related to Harry’s late mother Princess Dianna, despite moving away from the rest of the royal family.
“Sources have told us that Meghan and Harry are staying in a $20million mansion in Malibu,” Lankston said, according to the Express.
“Now, this is interesting for a number of reasons. Malibu is nicely out of the way, it’s not right in the middle of LA, they’re not going to get that Hollywood, over the top lifestyle which I’m sure the two of them are not looking forward to getting involved into whatsoever.
Meghan Markle and her husband Harry officially stop being active members of the royal family today.
They stepped back after media harassment and want a "progressive" new role: "The work continues. Please take good care of yourselves, and of one another." pic.twitter.com/mOgnkl2A5G

“But it’s also in an area where it was rumoured that Princess Diana was planning to live with Dodi al-Fayed shortly before they died,” Lankston said.
According to the Express, Al-Fayed bought a house in the Malibu area in June 1997, just two months before he and the Princess of Wales died in a car crash. The princess, like Markle, made her fair share of waves in the royal family, bringing with her more progressiveness than the family has experienced in generations.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle made headlines days ago, this time about a house that they didn’t buy.
The pair made their long-anticipated move from Canada to the United States just days ago, and reportedly took up residence in southern California. While looking for a residence suitable for royalty (or at least those used to royal accommodations) the couple and their blooming family looked at a home previously inhabited by what some call American royalty: Kylie Jenner and crew.
According to a report in Bossip “the couple wants lots of privacy and plenty of room for Archie to play.”
One Instagram account dedicated to watching the couple’s movements posted two days ago about the move:
“Confirmed! Our most trusted royal reported @scobiesnaps has confirmed that Meghan, Harry and little Archie have moved to Los Angeles in the last couple of days before the U.S and Canadian borders closed.
“It makes sense that the family have decided to move to L.A. Meghan grew up there and now they will be closer to Meghan’s mum Doria who also lives there.
