They're adding a WHAT garden?!

Your eyes are not deceived you. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are making some rather...interesting expansions to their new abode. No, we're not talking about their minimalist luxury home in sunny California - the estate at hand is a $14+ million Wyoming-based sprawl the family purchased last fall. The question is: which one?

"In September," reported, "[West] acquired Monster Lake Ranch near Cody, which was on the market for $14 million. Then, mere weeks later, he added another property nearby listed for $14.5 million called Bighorn Mountain Ranch."

If you've happened to make a trip to an essential business with a newsstand, maybe you've seen West covering the April edition of WSJ Magazine - inside the pages, he discussed the plans for his newly-acquired acres.

West said he has called upon light artist James Turrell and architect Claudio Silvestrin to take on his "ambitions plans," some of which include a "series of dome-shaped rooms that feature closed-loop ecology to capture and save energy and water."

Other things on the radar? A skate park, a bio pool, a vegetable garden...and the aforementioned urine garden.

"Yup, you read that right," continued. "Urine, in the garden, where peas and carrots take root." We sure hope it doesn't end up adjacent to the VEGETABLES!

"West's plan is to install a system that converts human waste into plant food, which is actually an ancient gardening practice used all over the world."

But, is it safe?

"As strange as it sounds," they said "urine does contain certain components that make it great fertilizer for certain plants."

A leader in the agriculture industry even confirmed this truth.

Cassy Aoyagi, president of FormLA Landscaping, said that the core substance of urine (urea) assists plants in absorbing nitrogen.

"Synthetic urea is a major component in commercial-grade chemical fertilizers," Aoyagi stated, "and organic fertilizers contain urea of animal origin." There are however, a few downsides. For one, "as with dog urine, human urine can kill plants when applied directly."

"Another drawback is the possibility of cross-contamination with fecal matter, which is a big health risk."

Enough about that. because the ranch's expansion plan includes a goal as it relates to West's career.

A source close to the "Jesus Is King" artist said the property is set to become the permanent home for West's "Sunday Service Series."

“What started out small, is not small anymore,” the insider told PEOPLE in November, adding that the increasing crowd size was making it "more difficult to find good venues."

“Kanye is elated and wants to make sure anyone who wants to attend his service is able to. He doesn’t want to have to turn people away."

On the family side of things: Last September - around the time of West's purchases - his wife was very actively sharing photos during the family's trip to their second-home state.

"[It's] the prettiest place you've ever seen in your life," Kardashian told Jimmy Fallon. "I envision summers, I envision some weekends...we love Wyoming, it’s always been such an amazing place."
