Jessica Simpson's staggering 100-pound weight loss was noticed within just 15 minutes of her Saturday Instagram updated going live. The 39-year-old singer, actress, and "Open Book" author took to the platform for a little weekend activity today, sharing a chill moment that came complete with baggy sweats, fluffy slippers, and a tasty, home-made seven-layer dip (that turned out to be only be six layers).

Jessica made headlines towards the end of March for celebrating 2019-born daughter Birdie's first birthday while in quarantine. Today saw the blonde show how she's been spending her time.

Jessica's snap showed her solo, smiling, and standing in her daylit kitchen as she held out a tray of freshly-made dip. The "Dukes of Hazzard" star was showing off her whittled-down frame in a simple pair of black sweatpants and a matching top, also going casual with her dark red fluffy slippers and a matching hairtie in locks that were scraped back.

With zero makeup and the homey mom vibe contrasting the $4,000 Fendi trench coat donned earlier this year, Jessica delivered simplicity, plus a caption that got honest about the food.

Jessica had taken to her caption, mentioning the dish she was holding.

"7 layer dip...well really 6 layer dip. Ha (Tired mom trying filters 😜)," she wrote.

Alongside clocking herself over 25,000 likes in just 15 minutes, Jessica found the comments section to her post quickly filling up. Many users wanted a full recipe break-down, although the blonde's weight loss proved mentioned by many.

"Skinny Minny!" one fan wrote, with another saying:

Many replies also came in over Jessica's New York Times Best Seller book, with some users even requesting details on the slouchy sweats.

Jessica made headlines recently as sales of her "Open Book" memoir soared amid the millions leading new lives from home. The candid work chronicling the star's childhood sexual abuse, subsequent alcohol and pills addiction, marriage to Nick Lachey, and overall career is now selling more copies than ever – "Open Book" ranked eighth on NPD BookScan. Also logged as shifting copies is country singer Carrie Underwood's March 3-released "Find Your Path" book.

Jessica told "The Know" that the book was written during a period of "self-healing," through which she was "able to connect with so many people."

Tipped Scales At 240 Pounds, How She Lost The Weight

Jessica tipped the scales at 240 pounds as she gained the baby weight with her third baby, with the star revealing her 100-pound weight loss back in September 2019. Trainer, Harley Pasternak dished to Hollywood Life on what Jessica ate alongside the 10,000 steps she walked a day while shifting the pounds.

“She would eat one whole egg and three egg whites for breakfast, scrambled with a bowl of blackberries. For lunch she would have a salad with grilled chicken and grilled fish with salad and vegetables for dinner. As for snacks, she would have almonds and sometimes green beans with Parmesan cheese on top. She was very disciplined,” he said.
