Three days ago, CNN anchor, Chris Cuomo, announced that he tested positive for coronavirus. (COVID-19) He has since been feeling severe chills which have chipped a tooth, hallucinated about his death father, and even lost 13 pounds in three days.

Now, fellow CNN anchor, Brooke Baldwin, is the latest public figure to contract this virus. Baldwin took to Instagram to announce that she tested positive after feeling chills, aches, and a fever. She said she "came on suddenly" yesterday with these symptoms.

"Hi friends — I've tested positive for coronavirus," said Baldwin on Instagram. "I am OKAY. It came on suddenly yesterday afternoon. Chills, aches, fever. I've been social distancing. Doing ALL the things we're being told to do. Still — it got me," she explained. "I'm healthy... no underlying conditions... Honestly, I feel like one of the lucky ones. I look forward to being back on [TV emoji] and seeing you real soon. And shout out to the doctors and nurses who are doing the real work right now. Sending [heart emoji]. BB"

People have been encouraged to practice social distancing and to stay at home to avoid contracting the virus and spreading it. Baldwin mentioned in her post how she did everything that she was told such as these measures but still ended up getting the virus. Despite testing positive, she still says she's healthy and doesn't have any underlying conditions. She also showed love to all the doctors and nurses in the field who are putting their lives on the line in the midst of this pandemic.

As of now, Baldwin looks to self-isolate for the two weeks that is recommended for COVID-19 patients. She also looks forward to returning to CNN and anchoring soon as well. In her IG announcement, she also said she will be listening to Bill Withers' music on repeat, who died on March 30 at the age of 81. His music career is remembered for classic hits such as "Lean on Me", "Lovely Day", "Just The Two Of Us," "Grandma's Hands," and more.

Following the announcement of Baldwin being tested positive, CNN anchor Jake Tapper anchored during her time slot and gave her a shout out and showed her love during this time.

"I am anchoring at this hour because our friend and colleague Brooke Baldwin, who normally anchors at this time, has herself been diagnosed with coronavirus. Brooke, we all love you... get well,"

Baldwin replied to the clip posted to CNN's The Lead Twitter handle by saying "Thank you ALL," which included a heart emoji. Hopefully, she recovers quickly and is able to return to the anchor desk as soon as possible to do what she loves.
